The magnetic charger/wireless dongle combo was the main reason i wanted this keyboard. It's working perfect so far, and the battery is lasting me all day even on unicorn puke fx.The knob and rocker on the top right corner also quickly became my default for media interaction. Beyond convenient, it's also a great fidget! The rocker has a subtle button in it that defaults to play/pause. Hard to know it's there at first. The volume knob has a button for mute by default too.If you want lots of features in a wireless hybrid keyboard, this is the way to go. Especially if it goes on sale!

This gaming keyboard is durable, easy to see, and the lights enhance my gaming desk. I do like that I have the option to have it wireless and the easy attach/detach is a great option. Having Bluetooth is great as well because all I have to do is change the mode on the keyboard and I can connect it to my laptop instead of my desktop.I went out of town for two days and left my keyboard switched on, but the lights were off so I thought the keyboard recognized that my desktop computer was turned off and would go into some sort of standby. When I returned, the battery was down to about 40% so it looks like the keyboard still consumes quite a bit of power even when it is not lit up and no keys are being pressed. Other than that, this keyboard is great and the keys are clicky just enough for me so that I don't accidentally press something without some effort.

This is my favorite keyboard yet! Let me say that I love love love the feel of the keys--they make such a nice, soft clicky noise and they feel really smooth when typing with just the right amount of bounce back. And it's also very responsive--there's no lag at all. I also super appreciate having a physical dial I can use for adjusting volume with one hand on the fly and the additional toggle I can program. Speaking of programming, I love the customization available for the colors and mapping all the keys--the program is easy to use and fairly robust. Did I also mention you can use it wirelessly?! Definitely would recommend this keyboard!
Very nice keyboard. It does have a spring noise but hope over time it will go away. The rechargeable battery and wireless capability is a awesome feature. I do have to say the keyboards rechargeable battery does not seem last long even on dim settings. Also not all the functions light up ones missing is the FN functions pause, stop, skip, lighting, and ect. Also other thing is I have not found a sleep function. Still a great keyboard just need some improvements.Improvements needed: Battery Life, fully light-up including the FN functions and have a sleep/hibernate FN key.Overall 8/10 I say do to some lacking functions and battery life.
It was a pretty keyboard, but I had too many issues with it to keep it & justify the cost. I actually returned it for a refund. First, I had issues with using the dongle while having it plugged in to charge, wouldn’t work at all. With my Alienware mouse, I can use the dongle & when the battery runs dead, quickly plug it in to charge if I’m in the middle of something. This keyboard could not do that. The battery ran dead very quickly & took forever to charge, so I tried to use it while ONLY using the USB to charge, but when the battery died, it would not work at all while being plugged in with the USB. This defeats the entire purpose of why you would even have that as an option. I thought maybe I was doing something wrong, so I contacted tech support and rather than ... MoreIt was a pretty keyboard, but I had too many issues with it to keep it & justify the cost. I thought maybe I was doing something wrong, so I contacted tech support and rather than help me troubleshoot or figure out if it was something I was doing wrong, she immediately sent me a link to request a refund & ended the chat. Horrible customer service, IMO, so rather than try someone else, or call back again, I requested a refund instead. If it doesn’t work right out of the box & I have to resort to digging out my old keyboard because this one is dead and won’t work, then why did I spend almost $300 on a new keyboard? I love Alienware & I loved their last wired keyboard, but they seem to be getting things very wrong lately. The newest headphones & Mouse were just as bad. I will stick to my old Alienware peripherals that work amazing until they start making better products again… and maybe better customer service.
This Alienware Wireless Keyboard is just what you'd expect from one of the top gaming peripheral companies in the world. Despite being a wireless keyboard, it has great gaming performance with no ghosting or noticeable lag on fast key presses. The full sized key layout is great for work as well. It’s nice to see a company produce a fully spec'd, fully functional keyboard in a world where everyone else wants the most compact peripherals they can find. Feels solid, uses MX Cherry switches, and I have confidence that this keyboard will be around long after my PC gives out.

So far I have loved every minute using this keyboard. It has three ways to connect; 2.4GHZ wifi, Bluetooth or USB cord connected. With lightning at approximately 50% strength you get roughly 40-46 hours of unwired play and if you need to charge its super easy to plug in with the magnetic cord and keep going. No struggling to look for batteries, open the access and try to get back to your game in a panic. The colors are also great, easily customizable and easy to see.
This keyboard sounds great, which is always a bonus. But it performs excellent as well. I tried wireless, just to see, and it was great. But I did plug it in and have kept it wired after that and it's perfect. After the software installs it gives you a menu to have total control over the keyboard colors. You can have certain keys different colors, which is great. The 2 knobs have volume and playback controls, but I don't use them super frequently.
