As a photographer, using a MacBook without usb 3.0 and only thunderbolt capabilities can be a little tricky but thanks to this product, there's no issues!
I was dissatisfied as it wouldnt work with Apple devices. And had to return it.
Exactly what I needed. I can attach at the same time multiple devices like an external usb3 hard drive, thumb drive and keyboards without losing power to the external hard drive (as it happened before without this device).
Works well with my MacBook without having to be an Apple product
With the newer model laptops only having a c-type input this was a lifesaver to actually convert and do it safely. The actual product is quite compact and light, too.
Easy to use. No set up required. Just plug and use. Has a number of ports but not big and bulky. Nice and simple and sleek. Value for money.
Pros: Does what it says on the box.Cons: Usb needs to push in with a tiny bit of force to avoid accidental disconnection.Plastic feels a bit flimsy but no problems so far.
