I am used to using super lightweight, basic facial oils like squalane and jojoba on their own so I wasn't super sure on how I would like something a little more intense. I was surprised by how much I liked this oil! It is super lightweight, almost a 'dry' oil. 3 drops was enough to nourish and hydrate my skin without making my face feel greasy or oily - due to this I even liked using it in the AM (usually I only use an oil in the nighttime). It played super nicely with all my other products, no pilling, smelled nice and left my skin with a beautiful glow!

I used to vibe on all the rosehips or marula oils, dabbled in samples from mecca but mostly reverted to the organic CW brands. I loved the way they applied however they did not love me back. Unfortunately I ended up with underground zits that showed their final form in shark week. I just wanted the oil experience sans clog.I was a bit meh about trying golden haze to begin with becasuse of my hormonal acne, but MAMA. It's not really like an oil - I mean it is, but it goes on like an oil, but isn't oily on the skin. Doesn't break me out. Sinks in immediately and just like cherubises your face.

I’ve received samples of this gorgeous oil in my past few purchases and I’m sold! Our daughters use prescription acne cream that really dries their skin and can leave them sore and irritated. I applied this oil lightly to my 16 year old girl’s sore face last evening and she was thrilled. There was no initial burn, and her redness disappeared. Perfect. By this morning her face was soothed, free of redness but not oily! I’ve filled out my profile for this review based on her skin.I’m ordering a full size today.

This is LUSH! I got this as a sample and fell head over heels for it. I used every last drop of that sample and then immediately purchased. Hook, line and sinker. I am obsessed. This makes my skin feel like I've just had a facial. It sinks straight in, no pilling, no greasiness, no stickiness. Fragrance is beautiful and subtle, not too overpowering. Would 1000% repurchase.
What an amazing product. My skin is very dry and I find other oils tend to sink in and then disappear, leaving my face hydrated but still a little dry looking. This product did not do that. After applying it, my face glowed, my skin felt hydrated and looked amazing. I did have to use a few more drops than recommended, but in all this was great. The best application for me was to apply it under my moisturiser. When I applied after moisturiser, it felt as if it sat on top of my skin and didn't really sink in and give me the best hydrated feeling. When I applied makeup I felt like it lasted longer, that my makeup looked almost as if I had just applied it at the end of the day. I was grateful to have no negative reaction or inflammation of my existing issues.My skincare routine is cleanser, clarifying lotion, serum and moisturiser.I was surprised at the lightness of the oil. I expected something a little more viscous. There was only the slightest scent. It was suggested to use 2-3 drops and I was surprised that it was plenty of product to smooth over my face and neck.As directed I tried using the oil both before and after moisturiser. When using the oil with my serum step before moisturiser I found that the moisturiser over the top helped everything absorb and there was no residue. Not sure if the addition of spreading the moisturiser over the top helped the absorption.I also tried the product under foundation. I normally use a primer but I tried switching it out for the Golden Haze face oil. I let the oil 'dry' for a few minutes before following with makeup. My liquid foundation spread smoothly over the top. Using my fingers I dotted it on my face and them smoothed and blended. I was left with a lovely smooth application comparable to a primer. I didn't try using it after foundation as a full face product but I did take a tiny bit on my ring finger and gently tapped it onto my cheekbones which added a nice dewy look.My skin was left looking hydrated, gently plumped with more even skin tone. My skin was left clean and healthy.It was easy to add the product to my regular routine and I'd be happy to continue using it.
Since using Golden Haze Face Oil the overall appearance of my skin has really improved. I apply to my skin in the evenings after any serums &/or Liquid Gold and it is quickly absorbed into the skin (I don't feel like I'm dripping in oil - this oil feels really lightweight).Especially with this recent cold weather my skin is really suffering so this oil is really helping on top of my usual dryness.I really like how you can use the Golden Haze oil on top of Liquid Gold without it effecting the exfoliation process (I usually go without moisturising after Liquid Gold for that reason).I wake up in the morning and my skin just feels really hydrated, glowy and just generally healthy.
Highly recommend! Feels great on my dry skin. I love mixing it with my moisturizer for extra luxe hydration at night and wake up with perfectly hydrated skin every morning. Haven’t had any issues with breakouts either which is a plus. Also the spa-like scent is very nice but also mild in case you’re not a big scent person. It’s also really nice after using the Liquid Gold Perfecting Mask, which I love but is an intense face mask so this really helps nourish and calm my skin right after. Give it a try!
This oil is amazing. I kept catching myself noticing a slight glow on my face today, when I realised that it’s all thanks to this product!!The first thing I noticed when I put this on my face was the beautiful smell - the second thing I noticed was how light the consistency felt on my face. I often struggle with face oils because I hate the feeling they can sometimes give of oil sitting on top of my skin, but this one melts into your skin straight away. I can’t wait to keep using this. I LOVE it.
If, like me, you're an oily skinned person who uses oils because you know you really should but it feels like a chore and not a pleasurable experience - this is a game changer! The way this leaves your skin feeling so juicy and plump is incredible, but the texture, scent and feel whilst you're applying it what really sets this apart from other formulations. It doesn't feel sticky, heavy or tacky but instead glides on to the skin, sinking in incredibly quickly but leaving you feeling super hydrated all day. Definitely give it a try if you're not usually an oil lover!
