The Alpinestars SMX Plus V2 motorcycle Boot is a highly protective CE approved sports boot with Alpinestarsunique Multi-Link Control system. It provides advanced external protection and support for ankle articulation, limiting hyper-torsion hyper-extension and hyper-flexion and providing Achilles and ankle impact protection. These also feature contoured high modulus shin plate protectors, dual-density TPU replaceable toe sliders with screw-in assembly and TPU heel protectors to dissipate and absorb shocks and allow sliding during an accident. These are made from ultra-lightweight yet durable advanced microfibre and feature an Alpinestars Lace-Lock system constructed from an advanced polymer resin to guarantee a quick, precise and secure closure. The front flex area is made with a soft microfibre for natural forward and back movement for a great ride without compromising on protection. A Flexible accordion microfibre on the Achilles gives enhanced natural suppleness. In addition, a strategically positioned ventilation area in the heel and shin TPU provides enhanced breathability and optimum airflow. A stretch accordion panel is at the entry/exit of the boot for a great fit and ease of entry/exit plus a lateral micro-adjustable ratchet top closure system is easy to use and secure. These are highly comfortable thanks to the Alpinestars anatomical and replaceable countered EVA footbed, which gives arch support and forefoot pedal feeling. The sole is made from evenly textured rubber and is highly durable for excellent grip. It also comes with inner instep speed lacing closure and unique lateral zip for a precise and secure fit, and this has a hook and loop tab that locks the zip pull closed, keeping it flat and safe.
