Once the Alexa app is installed on the smartphone, the installation will be guided. Alexa can control: lights, televisions, curtain systems, air conditioning, some cars, and anything that says "works with Alexa". It connects to Samsung's Smarthings, Ezviz and the Phillips system. I use it a lot, for example to listen to my favorite radio! The only negative thing I noticed is that after about 3 days of being on, it lags, and needs to be unplugged and reconnected to the power supply to be restarted and respond quickly. In short, a not indifferent help that you activate with your voice, and is constantly evolving, with new features and skins. I can no longer do without it!

Amazing Smart Speaker

It is easy to use, it helps me wakeup, make timers, it tells us the news. it helps our family make announcements, and other fun/useful things. we have another white one and a black one without a clock as well. It even helped us know what was wrong with the Wi-Fi and internet by saying it can't connect. the only bad thing so far is when we do online learning, it sometimes get confused by a students name.

Amazon Echo Dot 4th Generation

We had zero experience with anything Smart Home so after much research we decided to jump into the fray with the Echo Dot 4th Generation. These items were being made available during the Boxing Week sale at 50% off so we purchased two plus four smart plugs. We now have the lights that we use the majority of the time under “Alexa” control plus we removed our one manual light light timer and set up a smart timer instead. We are happy with the quality of the speakers on the Dot and have the one in our living room playing our favourite music most of the day. If you want to get started with Smart Home or just want to have a little fun with Alexa, the Echo Dot is the way to go.

Echo Dot clock rocks

I already have several Echo devices. I bought this to replace my 3rd Gen Echo Dot because I never got around to getting the one with the clock. And I like this configuration better. I am going to pair this with a set of computer speakers I just acquired. (Altec Lansing w/subwoofer)1The sound is surprisingly good for such a small speaker and I like the controls on this generation model much better than the previous one. And I love the clock.

I bought this Echo Dot with clock to use as a bedroom alarm clock. I love that it keeps accurate time and that the brightness of the display adjusts to the ambient light in the room. After using it reliably for a year I almost missed a flight when the alarm function didn’t work to get me up one morning. Since then the unit continues to hang a couple of times a day. After giving it a command the LEDS at the bottom come on and stay on. At this point the only way to restore it is to unplug it for a few seconds. I have searched the web for a solution and see that others are having the same issue. I have tried reloading it from scratch to no avail. I can only assume that its a hardware design issue. Performs perfectly

Great for listening to varieties of music and radio stations. Does a fine job of turning lights on and off and adjusting brightness. Vocal volume control is flawless. Time display can be turned off and off.The app works perfectly. Overall a good gadget. Haven't been able to get it to read email yet.

I've had the chance to use the 4th Gen Amazon Echo Dot with clock, and I love it. I previously had a Echo Dot but without the added clock. I used to ask Alexa for the time but now it only takes a look. It makes for a great alarm clock or anywhere a quick glance of the time and the ability to play music or ask questions is needed. I will definitely recommend the 4th Gen Echo Dot to my friends and family.

A great update to the dot! The most noticeable update, of course, is the shape. It is now a cool globe shape which allows for an LED clock and better sound. If you're familiar with the echo dot, there are so many uses; setting alarms, turning smart devices on/off, asking questions, like the weather, cooking measurements and so on. You can also connect it to Amazon Music and Spotify for example and ask it to play music. The possibilities are truly endless.

I have a 2nd generation Echo Dot in my living room that my family and I use all the time. When I saw they had an Echo Dot with a clock face, I knew It was time to replace my alarm clock in the bedroom. I must say it is so much better than expected. The sound quality is fantastic compared to my older Echo Dot. The best part for me is telling it to set the alarm with my voice, and the alarm is set. You can also set it to wake up to music! No more manually setting the alarm. I also love that it can read me my to-do list before I even get out of bed. Finally, it took less than 2 minutes to find the device on the Alexa App and set it up.

Not only is it great looking its very clear sounding too. I love the display on it the clock and weather show on the ball. Its grey and a material on the top half. I love to play games on her and so does my granddaughter. We play alot of music games on her. She's hooked up too my Bluetooth and she does alot of different things. I hooked it up effortlessly.
