Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K (2024)

We love our FireTVStick. It works great and streams wonderfully. The interface is very easy to use and navigate. It allows you to view more 4K content than the regular firesticks. It’s way faster than the ones we had before. I also like that it has a built in Alexa voice assistant, so with a push of a button you can say ”Alexa” search or ask it something and it’ll automatically respond to your request. I love that it pairs great with all of our Alexa devices in our home and it will automatically connect all your Bluetooth devices such as soundbars, speakers and headsets of your choice. This is by far our favorite device we own.

The Amazon Fire Stick is pretty cool! I have one plugged into every TV in the house. The stick allows you to connect your TV to the internet. It allows you to download apps like Hulu, HBO max, Disney plus, Amazon prime etc. You can also download some free games like Crossy road, temple run, etc. There are also free shows and movies that you don’t need any subscription for. The best feature is that you can download and watch YouTube on the TV with the fire stick. The stick is super easy to set up and it even comes with batteries, which is super convenient. The Amazon Fire Stick is definitely worth getting!

I love my new amazon fire tv stick so much. The quality of my shows are so much better through this device rather then my normal tv. I also am growing my smart electronics so I love that the remote has an Alexa button and you can control your tv with it. Not only is the picture better the audio quality is so much better as well. I have had no issue trying to stream anything nor wait for anything to buffer while using this stick. It’s definitely a game changer and I’m definitely here for it. I would also like to throw out that the design is super sleek looking and looks very chic. It’s so my style.

I bought a cheaper version elsewhere. I think intended for a different country as plug not UK style. That was easily solved but the menu system not nearly as good as this one. It was worth the extra money. I shall want a third for another room soon and will stick with this model!

Amazon makes it very easy to install this. You sign into your account, you are recognized, and Amazon asks if you want the apps and settings from your previous (outdated) Firestick to be downloaded to your new one. Saying yes, you can then sit back and relax. This stick has a few new features. Among them, it can turn the TV set itself on & off, and it can raise & lower the volume. Very intelligent. As for the time it took to get it, B&H is a fast shipper. Good service. Video, Audio, Photo, Computer peripherals, etc. Nice outfit to do business with.

It’s a solid choice.The Amazon Fire TV 4K is a great addition to my tech portfolio because I personally tend to gravitate toward streaming shows, movies and music due to the flexibility. The other capabilities are nice like the dedicated 4K Ultra HD streaming, the Dolby Vision-Atmos, and being able to use the Fire TV 4K remote for controlling your TV functions too. That being said, I think those features are a “nice to have” not a “must have”. Solid addition to the TV, inconsistent with certain controls

Enjoyed using the product for the most part - the Alexa voice control option was probably my favorite feature that I know I’ll continue to enjoy. User interface/Home Screens felt pretty standard and intuitive, and worked seamlessly with my apps (Netflix, YouTube, Prime Video, etc).I was surprised that the stick needed to be connected to a separate power source other than the TV in addition to an HDMI port. The remote is sleek and light but would be a little inconsistent with certain TV controls, like changing inputs or taking us to the Home Screen after the TV is turned on.Overall, will continue to use as it definitely adds to the TV more than its cons take away… but does have room for improvement.

There are so many streaming devices! I have several physical AppleTV’s and most of our Smart TVs have built-in streaming services and APP support, but i had to buy Amazon Stick devices to support Tablo - an over-the-air HDTV DVR app driven system. When it works it is fantastic. Apple has an app for the phone, but not AppleTV - yet. The Tablo app needs some work. The device needs to be reatarted from time to time. One of my three Amazon 4k devices was DOA. Having Tablo and thr Amazon Stick saves me a cable TV subscription.

Make any TV a smart TV! I don't have a smart TV. Was streaming using apps on the Xbox One or on mobile devices, so I wondered if something like this was even worth it. It totally is. Wish I had bought one a long time ago. Makes my TV a lot more functional & worthwhile.Everything is all in one place. There are apps/channels I can get on the fire stick that aren't available on Xbox. When streaming using a console or mobile device channel surfing isn't much of a thing and it's more intentional. Using the Fire TV stick I can easily surf through live channels and apps, plus there is more available.If you use Amazon Photos you can look through your photos, play a slideshow, or set them as a screensaver. There is a live TV guide that will show you what's playing on all the live channels in your apps, such as Pluto TV & Tubi, so you don't have to open them up individually and look.The remote is really nice and intuitive. It is the only thing I need to control it while watching TV. Alexa integration is nice and can be helpful. Weather forecasts, announcements, & Alexa's answers show upon the screen. I can use the voice control to ask for local news and get a local channel playing the latest broadcast. I can also ask for specific genre's or actors.Plugging it in and setting it up didn't take that long and it was easy.Overall, the Fire TV stick is a great thing to have for streaming and watching TV. Totally worth it - especially during a sale.
