I was skeptical at first with the 50/50 reviews and also there are so many hair masks out there so why this one? I used it for the first time and I absolutely loved it!! It smelt incredible and instantly made my hair feel softer after drying my hair felt softer than it had ever felt before! I used it every wash ( i wash my hair about every 4-6 days ) after the fifth time I noticed I wasn’t loving it as much anymore and then I stopped because I felt as if this product almost rejuvenated my hair and I don’t really need it any more or else my hair becomes too greasy. So in summary yes try it! It works that’s for sure but don’t overuse it! Side note: I felt as if it was making my highlights fade.. could’ve been a coincidence but hmm.

My two daughters and I all have different hair and therefore haircare needs but this mask works for all of us! Our toddler has beautiful loose curls and he hair is really difficult to maintain, especially because she is your typical active and messy toddler. Whenever her hair gets especially wild and unmanageable (about twice a month) I use this mask and it always leaves her hair so soft and manageable with her curls so defined. Our other daughter has such fine and brittle straight hair and this mask keeps he hair so healthy and full. As for my myself, I have very thick hair that gets SO dry and this mask really helps keep my hair hydrated and well nourished. This product is really amazing and does so much for all of us gals in our home. My favorite hair mask to use regularly - it's lightweight and smells amazing. I love that you can use it effectively in the time it takes for a quick shower (I usually leave in for about 5 minutes), and it washes out easily. I try to use it 1-2x per week, depending on how often I heat-style. It has the same softening, hydrating effect whether I air dry or heat-style after use. I have a couple of other Amika products on rotation, but I use this the most frequently! Have purchased several times as gifts and always hear great reviews from friends.

I have used this product religiously for years along with other Amika products. I went from washing my hair daily with a name brand product with my hair being greasy by the evening to washing my hair every 3 days and it remaining nearly flawless for the in between days. HOWEVER, I am not sure if recently they have switched distributors. I recieved a sample with my product this time around. Due to the way everything was wrapped up in the bubble mailer, the sample got popped under pressure in shipment. I'm not sure what happened to shipping their products in boxes, but please bring it back! I have a whole mess to clean due to the misstep. Forewarning when ordering that you might get a package that needs cleaning upon arrival.
I usually don't buy pricier hair masks, but I'm sold on this one. I had received a small sample as part of one of the sample hair kits that Sephora did as a coupon a while back, and I immediately knew I wanted the full size. I have medium length, wavy, fine-medium thickness hair that is weighed down easily. This makes my hair so soft and smooth, and I feel as though it has improved the health of my hair in the few months that I've been using it. Plus the fragrance is heavenly. It's light enough that if you don't want something suffocating, it won't be bothersome. That's part of the reason I wanted to get away from drugstore hair masks - all of the ones I've tried recently are sickeningly sweet because so many are marketed toward teens. Would definitely repurchase!

I realized my problem was buildup, specifically from using way too many protein containing hair products. I pared down my routine, went protein free for a few weeks, no heat styling, and tried Olaplex no.3 all of which didn’t do anything, my hair felt worse and I was losing length rapidly, I was so discouraged. I now believe the Olaplex couldn’t even penetrate into my hair due to the product build up. It didn’t weigh my hair down or make it greasy at all, which was surprising since I have fine, thin hair. I have already purchased the huge size of this. I’m so happy. Also, Amika products all smell amazing, I believe this one is their “signature scent”.
Bought a small travel size to see if this would help with my messy, fly away, tangled hair...this is a awesome product for me and yes, it truly works. After doing the shampoo and conditioning with the hair, I actually damp my hair, put a dime size on my palm and rub this in my hands and start applying this cream half way down on my hair and work the cream in. I don't rinse this off or shower it off, then I would do the other routine to my hair while it's in there and begin to blow dry. The turn out is, no tangles even after blowing drying, soft, very smooth (no frizzing) and sleek. I love this product and yes, I do use other Amika products while having this in my hair. This has the been the best product for me so far.
I got a deluxe sample of this and it was so bad I had to write a review. my hair is curly and dyed a bright orange/copper and this mask left my hair SO dry and faded it's unreal. My hair is usually quite soft and manageable due to my care routine but this left it feeling like straw and when I rinsed it out a ton of my color came out with it! More than when I shampoo even! I had use another treatment after this to get some softness back.Has to be all the alcohols in it I think, because it's not protein overload (almost none in this and my hair likes protein) and my hair normally loves oils.I don't know how this has won awards tbh, it's awful.
