The jaws did not sit horizontal to each other and I had to purchase a 5/16 UNC tapping dye and wrench to retap threaded holes in both jaws to allow screws to wind through.

God value for the money. Overall quite good quality, but in no way near the big names or big quality producers. Installed it in the workbench, and it wasn't quite alligned, so the return piece that keeps all three rods coming back on opening the vice, broke. Had to make a new one. Maybe a missalignement or maybe I tightened it too much. All in one, a pretty good product. Put it on the bench and working ok since then. GOOD VALUE. Just be advised. It's a so-so quality product. I would buy it again.

Only 1 very small niggle thing the 4 threaded hole to keep the wood in place weren't supplied and had bolt ect that have fitted the so I glued the wood and you'd screews though the holes to keep in place but it's still a great aid

Very strong ideal for my woodworking bench. Can't fault at the price honestly. Nice price for a nice vice.
This vice is cheap, and there is a reason for that. The reason is, it is poorly made. When trying to open the vice to its maximum, the mechanism for doing so becomes very tight. This is because the guide bars which should be parallel, are not. they have been machined out of specification and are the reason this vice does not work well.
Just such a good price and looks good. A present for someone so I am really not aware of good points. Can only say I've heard nothing to the bad.
Not bad quality for the money, better than expected. Not pro quality, but ok for my home project use.
First time I've fitted a vice works great looks great ( put it on work bench in new shed)
This vice is a great addition to the workbench and with the addition of a couple of wooden jaw faces is great for holding wood for planing or sanding. The mechanism is smooth in operation. Toying with the idea of buying another so I can process longer lengths of timber.
great tool well designed reasonable price good service many thanks
