Anarchy Pancakes Tin Box Edition - by Exploding Kittens

Anarchy Pancakes will get your blood pumping and your minds running at full speed. It is non stop action that is fun for all ages. I love that it is a quick game that doesn't take a long time to set up so you can pull it out after dinner to make the kids forget about grabbing their iPads as soon as they are done eating. It is very easy to understand and there aren't a million little pieces to keep up with. The pictures are fun which is just what you would expect from the makers of Exploding Kittens. I highly recommend this game and see us using it over and over again.

We are very familiar with Spot It, and that is a game we have enjoyed on many occasions over many years, however, while the gameplay was familiar to us, the added level of chaos provided by the rules of this game brought great laughter and enjoyment to our whole family. I would also say that the speed of gameplay is a bonus too, meaning that it's a game that's short enough to fit in any amount of spare board game time, but also it's rewarding enough that it warrants repeated play through. A couple of negatives were identified by our group. One, the cards were very slick and therefore slippy, meaning that despite everyone's best intentions piles were easily disrupted, meaning that it was hard to know which was the top card of each pile. This game is a brunch buffet of chaos. My friends and I ate until we were full. We had the maxed number of patrons allowed at the table. Even with 6 of us, each course of the meal went by at a fast pace. We enjoyed every delicious bite the unique pancakes of anarchy delivered. More outings to this fine establishment are already in the works.Okay, food analogy aside, this is a fantastic game. I have played many of the Exploding Kitten games and this one did not disappoint. I included a photo of a starting hand. Red cards have one topping and Black cards have six. Everything inside the box is pictured. You start with 2 red and 2 black cards for a starting hand of 7 pancakes.I highly recommend this game. I can’t wait to introduce it to more friends and family. Oh, we did stand a lot once the game began. A lot of reaching across the table is involved to stack your pancakes as you match them in the ever changing playing field.
