This is going to be a long post..but it is a 6 months of consumption review.I don't have to do this, because is not benefiting me in any way but I am so passionate about this product and the results; hopefully it will help someone who is on defense about ordering this product because when I read reviews I want to see more than just "is great, taste good" etc.As the title says this is my 6 month review, with that being said, this is not headache medicine, so you are not going to see results overnight. I had a bunion from wearing high heels for so long, now the joint pain around my foot is no longer there, in fact I'm wearing my super cute high heels again! Lastly I have a lot of lower back problems, to the point I paid 1k for an MRI for the specialist to tell me everything is fine, but after collagen now my back feels stronger it hasn't gone out. I'm not saying this is a magic powder but after being consistent is working amazing for me. I guess I could get the same results from cooking chicken broth for 12 hours but that's a lot of work which means I'm not going to be consistent.One last thing, the flavor is amazing, I've tried other flavors by Dr. Axe but no, I keep coming back to this one, is the only one I like.

So I’ve Been taking this for a few weeks now and I wasn’t regular at all. After a few days of taking daily, I was having a BM every day. Healthy too. Also, when I take this and the greens first thing in the morning I have tons of energy! I just realized yesterday that’s what it was from! I absolutely love it and I have taken lots of supplements and products to compare. It also tastes really great. My kids will even drink it.

Easy to take, and mixes in water decently. The taste could be better though. While there are hints of the lemon and ginger, there is still a very noticeable collagen/animal product taste, which is not very pleasant. I would have expected that taste from an “unflavored” collagen. Perhaps they could have added more lemon/ginger.
I have purchased in the past the protein powder flavorless so I could use it in my coffee, tea, soups, with excellent results in my joints, strength, hair, however, recently a friend gave me a "multi collagen protein protein labeled Gut Restore" "natural lemon ginger flavor", and when I compare the label with this one posted on your page it doesn't look the same, there are multiple differences. I am concerned that it may be a fake product and not really from Dr Axe, would that be possible? I do not know where she purchased it, please I would like to be sure of what I am taking, thank you.
I used to get this collagen protein. I LOVED the flavor and I was having gut issues at the time and it did seem to help some. I just switched to the unflavored collagen peptides as I don't like the ingredients "natural lemon flavor" and "stevia leaf extract" since I don't know exactly what ingredients are in the natural lemon flavor and stevia leaf extract is highly processed. (That's why I knocked a star.) The unflavored collagen peptides have much cleaner ingredients so I hope I like the results as much as this one!
My gut is not quite so sensitive, and I feel better than before I started taking. Mix a little water with a scoop then add the rest of the water. Mixes a little better. So far, so good. Don’t know how long to continue or how long it takes to heal “the gut”. Hope it’s not forever, as it is expensive. Probably less expensive than overall poor health, tho.
The lemon ginger gut restore is one of the better flavor combos. Additionally, it works wonders on restoring the gut. I have mixed this powder into coffee, pancakes, organic old fashioned oats along with cinnamon for. An alternative hot breakfast. It is definitely a good choice of multi collagen protein powder.
