Andis Universal 8 Piece Large Comb Set

I bought the larger set first by mistake so I’ve never used them but the smaller set I have just bought are brilliant . With the weather getting warmer I can trim my dogs cost acvirclingly. Well worth the money

These attachment sizes are for long haired dogs. I purchased these to go with the Clippers I had to return because it didn't work. I have to pay to return them as well. I'm rating 4 stars because I'm sure they would work well.

Actually made just for my clippers!

Andis makes the best clippers on the market, I have no doubt the guides will be the same, let you know in about a week, three miniature schnauzer all needing haircuts again, in the past weve done freehand, very slow! Better for dogs too, I get their hair too short, so hope these help. Best part is the price, about half of store price!!!! Thank you!

Andis 9 Pack Attachment Combs

I’m new to grooming and thought these blades didn’t fit my AGC2 2 speed clippers so I returned them. I was then pleasantly surprised to receive a call from Tom at Groomers who told me they should fit. He offered a refund or to resend them and if I chose the latter even said he’d hop on a FaceTime or Zoom call to explain the fitting. I now have the combs back and have realised they have an adjustable sliding mechanism so I’m thrilled to have combs that fit! Thank you so much to Groomers and to Tom and congratulations on your superb customer service. Most impressed and will certainly be back!

These are absolutely Andis quality. This pack fits securely on the blade and can’t possibly fall off. They run really smoothly through the hair and over the skin. I highly recommend this set.

Exactly what I needed

These combs work great. They take some manual dexterity to finesse them over the clipper blade, but the fit is secure. I couldn't groom my dog without them; the clippers alone are too short and the blade gets too hot. I still spray the blade with the cooling spray, but these combs--and the wide range of sizes to choose from, depending on what I need to accomplish--round out the whole package and I can safely groom my dog in all areas.

I really was happy to see there were some plastic combs for our dog clipper as I didn't want to risk hot blades touching my pooch. The clipper does heat up but these plastic combs allowed me to move along slowly as I figured out how to groom my cocker spaniel.

These did not work for my AndIs 10 Clippers

Apparently these are “large” which another reviewer stated that was not in the description. I also ran into the same issue. I have a super fluffy dog and the smallest comb would hardly touch his fur. So I had to waste two hours cutting his fur with the 10, which gets extremely hot, which is why it took so long. For the price of the clippers, overall very unhappy with all of Andis products so far.

this is the LARGE set - 16mm and longer

Nowhere in the description does it specify that this is a "LARGE" comb set - there is also a small comb set, though apparently petco doesn't sell it. Unfortunately I was specifically looking for shorter combs, which I'd assumed would be included in a multi-comb set.Had to order online for curbside pickup due to the pandemic, and unfortunately cannot return now. Waste of money and now I need to order from elsewhere to finish cutting my dog's hair...Lengths in this set range from 16mm (5/8") to 32mm (1-1/4").
