Texture: Thick when applied. There’s a subtle white cast but if you spread it evenly on your face, it will disappear.Effectiveness: It’s good! My face didn’t get very oily because of the sunscreen. Though there are areas in my face that have minimal oiliness (T-Zone Area) but it’s not that bad. This is perfect for oily skin who wants to have a good sunscreen that can last up to hrs.Fragrance: It has a little bit of smell but it’s fine naman.This Anessa sunscreen is a must for people with oily skin! It lasts up to 5hrs and it doesn’t oil too much. It feels thick when I applied it but once it’s settled on my skin, the feeling goes away. Overall, I am happy with my purchase.

Greasy at first - give it 5 minutes to turn matte

The 2022 version is watery and slippery meaning when applied, it feels a little slippery like silicone but if you let it settle, after 5 minutes it goes matte. The 2022 version isn't super matte, but a natural matte. I found it a little drying because my skin type is combo dry not oily but I do prefer matter sunscreens. When I put a non shiny moisturizer under then put this on, any shine is gone and I stay hydrated throughout the day. So far, I have yet to find something that beats this. I reach for Anessa as my last step in my skincare routine when it's super humid and hot, with BOJ's matte sunstick when my t-zone is slick. Sometimes in the summer I still have to use a very light lotion under because when you reapply it can get drying (so this is great for oily skin types). For spring/fall/winter it's too drying for my skintype so I just balance it out with a heavier moisturizer under.

[Rewarded Review] Horrible - Possibly Fake or Defective?

Horrible! I have been buying this for years and it is not the same product. I don’t know if it’s defective, fake, or if they have changed their formulation but this is worse than any cheap/terrible sunscreen out there. It is super sticky and greasy and does not absorb at all over time. Your face remains a shiny sticky greaseball and you cannot put any makeup on over it and you look terrible even an hour later. It just sits on your skin. I had to scrub it off of my hands. I absolutely loved this product so I do not know what happened here, but this one is beyond awful.
