I tried my new Anova yesterday! It is compact and incredibly silent! Anova keeps on improving! The only negative thing I would say is that if you want 0.1 oC increments you have to use the app, or bypass the problem by using degrees Farhenheit instead. No big deal, as there are not many recipes calling for 0.1 oC increments. And I 'll have to learn how to download apps... So I'll give it a 5. And I can certify from personal experience that Anova is extremely reliable! So do not hesitate, GO FOR IT!
Very easy to use, good quality build, I've cross checked the temperature and is accurate within 0.1 degrees. Heats the water to the target temperature very fast. A great feature is the adjustable clamp that can be used on different size containers or pots. It holds firm and sturdy. If you are particular about the look of this tool in your kitchen I would suggest to get a protective case for it, as it can be easily scratched on the highly polished plastic surface.
I’ve been using it nonstop since it arrived! Although the app still can’t connect to my iPhone (IOS13.1.3)... hopefully there will be an update soon
Really happy with it, used it for steak, potato, and 24 hour brisket with fantastic results and perfect cooking.
The device is easy to use and doesn’t take up much space.
The cooker itself can make great food as advertised. The biggest problem is the Wifi cannot be connected, even the four digit code be reset so many times that ended up in the whole thing not connectable to my app. Hence, so frustrated for not being able to remote control the cooking.
used it for the first time today. a combination of 2 lamb racks and 2 pork chops. gets up to temperature fairly quickly. the only challenge now is the temptation to get the container.
