I've tried many butter and oil cleansers from different brands. And when decided to meet with Antipodes ordered few positions, including this. I also was nice with the volume for luggage liquids allowance. How did I regret to take only this for vacations!!!((((( I was expecting something close to Emma Hardie or Organic Pharmacy butter cleansers. But absolutely NOT! This is very thick solid wax like texture, smelling bold with some pines. It is not melting on face and absolutely not washing away with water as other treatments I tried. Even when using double cleansing routine with foam after butter it is still stays with thick layer of wax like grease. I just throw it way, unfortunately. The brand should remaster this formula for sure.

Oh I love this cleansing balm! It's the consistency of a thick jam, but once melted onto the face it transforms into a lovely oil. It's so comforting and nourishing, removes every trace of makeup. It doesn't emulsify, so you'll need a wet cloth to remove - I use a soft flannel rinsed in hand hot water, I hold it over my face for a few seconds, then gently wipe away all traces of this lovely cleanser. My skin it left smooth, hydrated, comfortable and soft. Love it!

Leaves the skin feeling super nourished! I recently switched from a foaming cleanser and this has surprisingly helped with my hormonal acne! The only disappointment was that it was wrapped in a plastic seal as well as the cardboard packaging which did not seem necessary.

I love this cleanser and have used it for many years as I enjoy the way it leads my skin feeling hydrated and dewy after application. I used to alternate this with the Halleljuiah, using this in the summer but as my skin has aged I have found that the Grapeseed Butter is my go-to. I also find it much easier to take travelling.
I’m on my sixth pot now.. I wouldn’t be able to start my daily routine without this. It really locks in the moisture and keeps my skin looking radiant, all day. I follow with the vanilla pod cream and the Manuka honey eye cream. The combination works perfect, every time.
Was a bit sceptical but decided to try out with facial wash. I was really impressed how smooth and clean face becomes after it. Definitely will re-purchase. I sometimes have breakouts due to some "too organic" products, but this does not cause it to me.
I do find it takes quite a bit to wash off as it leaves a residue. this residue does feel nourishing in a way but also feels like there is product sitting on my skin...so I'm not sure if my skin is actually clean and there is just some nice nourishing oil left , or if this means my pores will get clogged over time. My previous review was quite harsh! Like the smell and does leave the skin looking glowing.

You use a spatula (provided) to put a little on your fingers and the heat from your hands melts it to a delicious oily consistency which is so easy to spread and feels great on your skin. I purchased Antipodes night cream as well and have had no allergic reaction to either product - stunned by this but I think the products are just so natural and such good quality. They really feel like they are made with knowledge and love. I am unable to wear make-up so I can't personally comment on its effectiveness at removing that, but my daughter has also been using the cleanser and said it is very effective at removing it. I adore this cleansing butter!! Now in my 40s I am spending much more time on my skincare rather than hiding my skin with makeup. This butter has a wonderfully thick consistency & it’s perfect for an evening massage on my face & neck, it doesn’t emulsify so I remove it with a damp flannel which in turn exfoliates my skin. The natural scent is beautiful & I love the whole experience of using this butter. My skin looks the best it ever has & I'm more aware of using natural & clean products on my skin. I would 100% recommend this product for either makeup removal and/or as a double cleansing massage It’s very moisturising & as a woman who has naturally oily skin this butter has actually helped balance the natural oils my skin produces.
This cleanser saved my skin! Was going through a rough and stressful time that resulted in skin developing horrible rough bumps and texture. Used this for a few times and they melted away unbelievably. This has a buttery consistency and needs some work to properly wash off but a muslin cloth helps. I use it as a first cleanse together with Juliet cleanser to properly get everything clean and seems to do the trick. Smell is not great but considering the performance still tolerable.
