I usually don't write a lot of reviews, but I was compelled to write this given how amazing this product is. My water got cloudy about 48 hours after setting up my new tank. I immediately went out and bought Tetra Water Clarifier, and trusted it given the brand name. I used it the minute I brought it home, and 4 days later the water actually looked worse! I did two treatments, and the water was supposed to have cleared up within several hours. As you can tell...no dice. My mom had some API Water Clarifier, so I figured I would try it instead. TWO HOURS LATER my water was CRYSTAL CLEAR! Seriously - I was amazed. Bottom line is the Tetra is a waste of money, and I will be returning it today. mabey it was just me but I used it like I was supposed to an it did not clear up my tank. I have a 55 gal in living room with very few fish, don't know what happened but it got cloudy after I put in fresh water. Never did that before. I used that whole bottle over a period of time an it took 4 weeks to clear up. Changed filters put in some plants to try to help. Now its crystal clear. Not sure why it took so long or what caused the cloudy water soooooooo I would try it again,just to see if it was not Api not working. It probably does work in most tanks. I would recommend trying it.

No complaints except for the dosing cap only measures 5ml and 10ml. The instructions say 1ml. per 10 gallons. I had to get a syringe to measure the right amount for my 10gal. tank.

Rushed to Pet store to purchased when my tank got cloudy. Added to water. Waited and waited. No help. Changed 1/2 water, filter added bacteria, reduced feeding, cleaned tank and plants. . Slight improvement. added again waited several days no help. Stupid me thought I had bad batch so bought on internet. Same results. Doesn't work for me. Instructions on internet says be patient. Instructions on bottle says, do not add unless 24 hour apart. Do not over dose. Scared I will kill fish. So quit using reduced feeding and it got better almost disappeared..
This is a really good product to clear a tropical aquarium with white bloom. I've tried others brands but this one does best job.
I didn't do such a great job at cleaning my gravel so my tank was cloudy. Really murky. I did a water change and it did get somewhat better. I found this product and I put it in. One hour later. It was clearer but still cloudy. I waited until 24 hours and it was still cloudy so i added another dose. Then it was crystal clear!!!!! You can see the little small particles are now trapped together. I'll wipe it out and rinse the filter off. I have a 60 gallon tank.
I dealt with an algae bloom in my tank for about 4 weeks - even tried weekly water changes (25%-50%), filter cleaning, used the "No More Algae" tablets once a week for 3 weeks and got absolutely no results - my water was still cloudy green, unsightly, and embarrassing. We could barely see the fish.Finally, I ordered a UV light contraption for $40 and the API Accu-Clear drops for about $4. I couldn't figure out how to put together the UV light contraption so I decided to try out the drops alone and I am so glad I did that. After changing my water (50%) and cleaning the filter cartridge, I added 40 drops of the API Accu-clear (plus added the stress coat and stress enzyme) to my 20 gallon tank and within 24 hours my tank cleared up COMPLETELY. This stuff is amazing, just a 10ml dose cleared my 200l aquarium overnight. Jist make extra sure you don't over dose as its very strong.
Bought this based on the reviews but this made my tank even worse! My fish tank look like a scene out of a horror film... like smog at night in a cemetery because it was literally a film of some sort sitting on top of the rocks, and anything else sitting in my tank.) i thought maybe i didn’t clean everything enough when i first bought it and it was chemicals washing off the stuff in the tank, but when i completely cleaned and scrubbed the tank and every thing in it and it was clean, i thought i was good. Been 2 weeks, new fish because 3 died( Betta tank with divider is a killer-1 got stuck in pump, the other in between the divider the 3rd was sick probably because of this ) everything was perfect... until i added this.
