I bought two of these adaptors and recieved them today. I currently own an original I bought with my Macbook Pro Touch that I bought from Apple direct 6 months ago, which I've used to compare to this product. With this purchase: 1) The power adaptor is recognizablly lighter weight and less dense as a unit in total. Plastic casing is more hollow, 2) When you pop off the two prong power adaptor, in the body of the charger, there is NO serial number, where as the Apple original does have a serial number easily visable 3) The 2M charge cable does not fit cleanly or snugly into either the charger or my Macbook Pro. It must be wiggled in, and does not securely fasten like the orginal. 4) This product does not describe if this product is authentic or in-authentic to ... MoreI bought two of these adaptors and recieved them today. I hope I am wrong, becuase the packaging and all other details come across as legitamite, but there is a huge market for bootlegging these necessities.

You still have to buy the usb-c cable to charge your laptop. I bought this item because I was evacuated from a recent fire. Didn’t realize I still had to buy the usb-c cable as well. I’m still happy with the purchase. Apple never fails. They always seem to make good quality products. I like how the prongs fold down to make this charger somewhat smaller.

This is the first time that I had to purchase another charger for a MacBook Pro which utilizes the USB-C charger. All the previous chargers for the laptops include the cable and on the back of the charger it also has a picture of the cable. When i open the box, there was no cable. So i had to go back and buy the cable separately which was not cool but now i know that USB-C chargers does not come with the cable.

Apple has done some pretty dumb things in the past. But this takes the cake for me. If you decide to purchase a second charger for your macbook, because maybe you want one at the house and one at the office, and you buy this charger just know that it DOESN'T COME WITH THE CABLE. It is literally just the block. Apple found another way to reach into your pocket and rob you. I would suggest finding an off brand USB-C charger instead.
I was a bit sceptical about buying this charger, to charge my iPhone 8 Plus and my iPad Pro 2. Even after doing an extensive Google search to make sure it wouldn't overload the batteries. All I can say is that it is fantastic, it won't overcharge the batteries and charges so much quicker than the standard chargers that come with the above two named products. My battery life actually lasts longer, whether this is due to having an improved current to actually recharge the batteries I do not know. But I would highly recommend buying this charger!
I needed an quick solution to obtaining a second power adapter for my Lenovo ThinkPad P52s. I use the laptop in two different locations, want to travel lite, didn't want to wait to purchase something online, and had some Best Buy rewards to use. This adapter and the Apple USB-C cable were the perfect pair. The 67-watt adapter charges my laptop as fast as the standard adapter does and it more compact to keep in the desk drawer. I couldn't be happier.
I miss the fold-in clips of older Mac power adapters for wrapping the cord around. The rubber on the cord isn't as nice as it used to be. But, it's still way better than the crispy clunky adapters for my chromebook!
I purchased this Apple power adapter to charge my Dell laptop via USB-C and it works great. Tried another brand that I purchased online and it did not work consistently - it would intermittently stop charging, then charge again. I've read too many horror stories of poor quality USB-C chargers causing damage to laptops, so I stopped using the adapter and purchased this to replace it. Although this Apple adapter is a bit pricey, it's reliable and does just what I need. Most of all, I'm not concerned about it causing damage to my laptop.Keep in mind that it does NOT come with a USB-C cable in the box, so you'll need to make sure you have a spare or purchase one in order to use the adapter!
It is a power supply for a MacBook Pro, that uses USB-C cables. Previous MacBooks used MagSafe so one could argue that the extra cost was worth it. This is just a USB-C power supply, so it works, but one pays for the Apple logo. I would recommend this to a friend that has purchased a MacBook, but I usually would not recommend my friends to purchase a MacBook anymore...
Not a real Apple product. The charging cable doesnt fit correctly into the port and has actually caused damage. There isnt a zero star option or it would get that.
