Apple iPad 2020 (128GB, Wi-Fi, Space Grey)

This tablet is fantastic. It’s older, but still works just as good as my iPhone 13 Pro Max. I don’t see a difference in screen quality, or functionality. The only difference is size. This tablet is fantastic for travelling, I own 2 of them and they keep my kids busy for hours on long road trips. I like using my tablet for online shopping as well, the products are easier to see on the 10 inch screen. If you are looking for a tablet that functions and doesn’t break the bank, this is the one I will recommend.

I love the larger size of this iPad. I was previously using the iPad Air and decided I needed a new one. It’s fast and has an A13 chip and an ultra wide front camera. It takes great photos and is an improvement over my previous IPad. The graphics are nice and clear and the colors are vibrant. I bought the model with 256 GB of storage. The battery life is brilliant and lasts for a few days for me on a single charge. I use my IPad for FaceTime and the quality is great. I also play games and watch movies, as well as take notes and check emails. Definitely recommend

Affordable, easy to use, fast - repeat ipad buy

My first ever tablet was the ipad2. 8 years later, the iOS 9 is not keeping up with apps, websites, etc. so I bought this 8th generation iPad. Nothing negative to say about this iPad EXCEPT that while Apple increased the overall length and retracted the bezels to give us the 10.2 inch screen, they shortened the overall width (see my picture with the 9.7 inch ipad2 side by side), so the half inch increase in screen size does not do jack squat to give you the feeling that you are looking at a significantly larger screen! Amazing product, easy to navigate!

Absolutely love it every bit as much if not more than the iPad Generation 4 it replaced for me! Expected to need a long transition time to get used to the changes of a newer model as I am VERY technologically challenged and usually struggle really hard with changes in electronics. But the changes were for once very minor and have not frustrated me at all! So much fun to actually be able to explore all the apps out there again, it's been some years since they stopped making apps that could be downloaded to the gen 4. And all of my favorites from that iPad are still available on this new to me one! To anyone else out there investigating what they would like, this one is the only one I could find with a nice big screen as well! The battery lasts about two weeks for me, if I mostly only play offline games and do a bit of online window shopping. If I am streaming movies while I am sewing then it can make it about three days. I have not done any ebooks on it yet but assume the battery will respond the same as streaming movies, depending on how long I sit and read each time.

Daughter loves it!

I got this for my daughter with the iPhone promotion, and she gets an iPad and I get to try the cute little iPhone 13 mini.My daughter has been enjoying this tablet. I thought that maybe 64 GB might not be enough, but it has not been a problem yet. She is able to play roblox just fine on it, and she can start practicing digital drawing. She a great pen to paper type of artist, so I'm excited to see what she can create digitally, as there are no limitations like supplies besides your imagination. All she really needs is the iPad and the Pen, and if she wanted to get fancier then pen tips or even different pens and the matte screen protectors for that more paper feel.I'm glad she is enjoying it. I also thoght that since it was an older generation of iPad that it might be slow or not have as many features as the newer models, but honestly there probably isn't evena huge different from this one than the next generation.

Fun toy to have

I must say im a samsung person never owned an apple product until this. People actually shocked i bought one. It was a great deal for price and samsung hasnt had a cellular version tablet that has decent anything under 600. I was able to use coupons etc and get for 580 with apple care plan. Ive been have fun playing with it. Its been a learning curve but pretty easy to figure out. I was always told you had to buy apps etc. Nah ive found everything free. Even great drawing apps. Its really fast responsive and can do so much. Very happy with purchase.

Once you switch to Mac, you’ll never go back

I bought this iPad over a week ago and I LOVE it. It was easy to set up and it’s so much faster than the Dell laptop I was using before I invested in the iPad. The iPad is smaller than the laptop I have and I needed to buy a case and keyboard separately, but all that aside, I’m very happy with this product. I love the touch screen and the fact that I don’t need a mouse or trackpad to place a cursor in a field. It’s WICKED that I don’t have to point, click and hold to scroll down a webpage.I use my iPad a lot for Facebook, online banking and gaming apps (namely Cookie Jam, Cookie Jam Blast and a few Candy Crush apps), and this iPad blows my old laptop out of the water in terms of performance. I never saw that with the Microsoft Windows based computers I owned. Good on Apple for the incentives to help reduce the carbon footprint. I’m so impressed with this trade-in value concept that I don’t see myself ever going back to Windows PCs.

Quality and Big Improvements

I bought this iPad 8th generation to update from the iPad 2 Mini I've used for the last 5 years. It won't be used for working, only home entertainment, but this will be a good investment going forward. It is a lot faster and more responsive than my old iPad 2, regarding both the touchscreen and quickness in the system. The screen is a big improvement from the old one, which does have Retina, but this looks sharper and more detailed. The 8th gen was magically easy to transfer all my info from the old iPad, in less than 10 minutes. The features such as Picture-in-Picture and Dual Screen are much easier to use on the 8th generation. The sound is clearer, and the mic picks up my questions to Siri even through the iPad case I put it in. My only issue is: though the 8th gen has a round earphone jack, it does not fit my Apple earbuds' jack plug. It does fit the earbuds' Lightning plug through the Lightning jack, but then I can't use earbuds when plugged into power source. I'm still exploring all that this new iPad has to offer, so I'll probably solve that soon.

Pros: The battery life is excellent on this iPad. Better than others I’ve had in the past. I don’t use it for anything too ambitious just general browsing, social media, emailing etc and it’s fab. I only need to charge every once a week. It’s Very light to hold so no aching hands and wrist. Very Easy to use. It’s fab. Brilliant charger included with the iPad (USBC) it charges the iPad to 100% in no time at all.Cons: No, nothing that I can think of. A free Apple pen in the box would be nice but that’s not going to happen!

I had this tablet for about 3 days before deciding to return it. It is a great tablet if you're not doing anything constructive and its solely to please a kid who just watches YouTube or plays mobile games. Other than that, it was pretty much useless to me. I hated the fact that this product gives you no choice in additional storage and forces you to use their AppleID, iCloud, and by extension Google Drive, all crappy choices if you value any privacy. Their App Store policies are horrible and forces it's developers to produce far inferior products compared to it's competitor. Want to use your awesome GamePass to play your console games on your tablet? Not Compatible. Want to run your Antivirus and Firewall software?
