These phones do all this cool stuff and it all drains battery . So when they say battery last all day .yeah if u don't use anything cool on the phone. We can put a man on the moon but don't have a battery that can last days and actually been convenient and easy or even better not need a battery. Still a cool phone sound ,picture , speed, security all are great

I had considered getting the Pro, but that was on back order, and since I don’t do much video, I decided the regular iPhone 14 would be good enough for what I need. It is smaller than the other versions, so it is good for people (like me) with small hands. Let me just say, I ordered this new iPhone 14 online and set it up myself: this was the easiest data transfer/phone setup I have ever gone through. Having gone from one iPhone to another, the new phone walked me through the setup process and automatically pulled all of my apps, passwords, and other data from my old phone and installed it on the new one; all I had to do was log into my different accounts. Now, I have low vision, so I rely heavily on accessibility features. The iPhone has multiple settings that I utilize, first and foremost enlarged font sizes. On my previous iPhone, the size I set would cause text to bunch and overlap, rendering it illegible. Despite the iPhone 14’s screen being only a little larger, I am happy to say that this issue has almost completely vanished. Apple touchscreen products, like their watch, iPhone, and iPad all use the same touch commands, making them extremely easy to use and navigate once these different controls are learned; this new iPhone is no different there. For the Facial recognition, it is an extremely convenient feature that works whether or not I am wearing a surgical mask; the only frustrating part is that I have to be fairly close to the screen to see it, which is much too close for the facial recognition feature to work, so before I even realize it is going to scan my face, it has already tried multiple times and then requires me to enter my passcode or password manually. The only thing that makes this particular inconvenience tolerable and less interruptive is that I have an Apple Watch which, when close enough to the iPhone, unlocks it if facial recognition fails (my watch is frequently vibrating to let me know it—not my face—opened the phone or an app). iCloud is still a fantastic feature, and I haven’t encountered any issues pulling up information on my phone or iMac. The new battery life on this phone is also a huge plus! I have used it to listen to lossless audio streaming, watching videos, streaming shows and live tv, reading, online shopping, GPS navigation, and random browsing. I am on my phone or listening to music for hours each day, more so the past week because of the Thanksgiving holiday, and while I choose to charge my phone any time it gets under 80%, I haven’t even had to do that every day. The only real glitch I have encountered is that on some phone calls, I cannot adjust the sound volume during the call with the phone’s side buttons. Otherwise, it does everything I need and more, so I am very happy with this new iPhone and, for sure, recommend it!

Fix the wallpaper feature
19 November 2022

Jumped from the 13 max to 14 max solely for the camera and I usually don’t just jump a single phone model - slightly regretting it. The 13 had trouble autofocusing and selecting the right camera when taking photos out of an airplane cockpit. The 14 AF and camera selection seem to be slightly less temperamental so far, and the colors(especially in low light) seem truer. That’s where the improvements stop for me.The wallpaper feature widgets update is nifty, but it killed a very basic and arguably important feature - choosing Home Screen and Lock Screen photos independently when you just want to change one of them. I’ve just sorted by people, selected a photo, “use as wallpaper” which automatically sets as your Lock Screen, and then forces you to choose a Home Screen photo(or Apple background) right then, but doesn’t let you sort by people which means you either have to screenshot the photo in advance so it’s easily accessible or scroll through all of your photos. The even worse scenario: What if I want to change just my Home Screen? Why am I forced to completely redo my lock screen photo + widgets and then go fishing for my desire Home Screen photo!? I just don’t get how you sit down in a dev meeting and say, “Should we let people choose their Home Screen and Lock Screen photos independently of one another like we’ve done for years without issue? Nah, let’s change it.” Change just for the sake of change is no guarantee of improvement.Would not recommend the jump from a 13.

Happy with my iPhone 14
9 October 2023

I made a big leap from an iPhone 8 to an iPhone 14 this September 2023. I chose not to go with the newest version of iPhone 15 and I am happy with my decision. As it turns out, the charging cable has been updated with the iPhone 15. I can still use my old iPhone 8 cables for my new iPhone 14. I am supper impressed with how the iPhone 14 keeps its charge. I can go all day without charging it! I thought that I would have a hard time using a phone without the home button, but I’ve adapted quite easily with the 14. I love the face recognition feature. A definite plus over using my fingerprint. The size of the phone is just a tad larger than the 8 and the screen is so much more! I have more GB’s to store and the phone is a 5G. And I’m please with the blue color I chose. ... MoreI made a big leap from an iPhone 8 to an iPhone 14 this September 2023. I hate this phone
7 May 2023

I love My MacBook Air and iPad so I figured I would like the phone. NO, I hate it. This phone takes terrible pictures. I have had it for about 3-4 months and I am going to flip it for the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra. My old galaxy S5 takes better photos. I really wanted to like this phone. I mostly use my phone for photos social media and phone basics. I will say the battery life is pretty good, no dropped calls, good sync with the blue tooth in the vehicle and I appreciate the ability to sync with my other Apple products. Sorry I hate to give Apple a lousy review and maybe I should have gotten the 14pro supposedly it has a better camera so please in the future just find a way to match the cameras on Samsung or The pixel and the Apple phone would be perfect.

Good Points: Transfer from previous Iphone to the new 14 was very easy. Lovely clear screen, which is plenty large enough to do all I need & the overall size of phone is great to slip into a pocket / bag.Great colour choice & with a matt clear case I can see the colour phone purchased, lovely!Improvement Points: I do feel many mobile phones are over priced & that sure applies to apple, etc.. but I guess they are now mini computers?Camera quality still only on par, maybe just slightly better than my previous Iphone7, thought it would've been much improved. I know you've got to shell out a further £400+ for the pro to get all the bells & whistles re: photo quality, not prepared to go the extra cash for that. Also, why take away the simple alarm marker at the top ... MoreGood Points: Transfer from previous Iphone to the new 14 was very easy. Being able to iMessage with my people and a few other things. But in the end, it wasn’t worth the cost. I ended up returning it before the days were up and reinstated my trusty old android. There was nothing wrong with it, my line was just available for an upgrade. Next time, I’ll do a little more research because if you look on google, there are so many people complaining about the camera and articles and how to fix it, which nothing does. I’ll stick with Samsung, thanks!

When I go for my walks the Series 14 phone fits so much better in my pocketed belt that I wear and the lighter weight makes the belt much more comfortable. I have small hands and because of the slimmer size the phone fits nicely in my hands and this is important. Yesterday when out walking, I received a call from my Granddaughter some 2000 miles away. It was nice to be able to hold the phone comfortably in my hand as we talked. And the reception was excellent.....so clear and faultless and my Granddaughter sounded as if she was there walking along beside me as she talked. Then, the Series 14 phone has some new features to explore and enjoy.Thank you Verizon for offering to your customers such a quality phone for signing up for your phone service. I am so grateful for the new phone. I am going to really enjoy my new phone service and this new phone. You are so appreciated.

iPhone 14 Honest Review
21 April 2023

The Apple iPhone 14 is overall a really great phone for anyone who is looking for a high speed, great camera quality, and a day-long of battery life. The squared-off sides are more comfortable to hold in your hand in my opinion. I was able to purchase this one and so far my experience has been wonderful. Something I really like about this phone is its fast speed along with the different options the camera gives you. I wouldn't say the iPhone 14 has a better camera than the 13, rather I think they are more similar and there wasn't a dramatic improvement. The battery life is something that I wish was a little longer. It last about an hour or two more than the average iPhone 13, but does charge faster. I have been able to receive about a 50% charge in 30 minutes. Another great feature about this phone is the painless eSIM setup. Being able to set up the SIM card virtually and not a physical transfer on your phone makes carrying over carriers from phone to phone much easier. battery lasts as long as the iPhone 13. As you may remember, it was much better than the iPhone 12. The iPhone 14 is a smooth and responsive phone and great for any high-quality gaming or photo and video editing. Overall I think this is a great phone to purchase if you are looking for a durable and sustainable upgrade and I do think it is worth the extra hundred dollars from the 13.
