I have tried MULTIPLE different brands of stylus before I finally decided to splurge on an apple pencil! I had brought my apple pencil off an app called BackMarket which is basically an app for refurbished electronics! I paid $60 for this one and I was honestly surprised with how good the actual apple pencil was! The battery on the apple pencil when it is fully charged lasts me about 3-4 days depending on how long I use it on those days. I had no problem syncing my apple pencil to my 6th gen Ipad! All I have to do is turn on my bluetooth and plug my apple pencil into my ipad and it will charge it!

Comfortable pen to hold and use. A great help for those of us with issues such as Raynaulds, when a screen cannot respond to the touch of fingertips. The tip of the pen is sensitive and the material sufficiently durable but soft not to damage my iPad screen (other pens have had issues). I just wish the pen had been more versatile and been able to be used on my iPhone as well! The only negative aspect would be the recharging. Although the fast charging point is very convenient, to actually have the pen protruding from the side of the tablet is not the best or safest solution. I suspect this has been addressed in the updated Generation 2 version (which also has the magnetic attachment to the tablet). However, just be aware of this when using a First Generation pen/pencil.

Alright, so please read this fully as I think this is a very relatable situation that most iPad owners faced with the release of the new Apple Pencil Pro...So Apple now has a variety of model of the Apple Pencil and it got to the point, at least for me, where I asked myself, is there really a point in getting the new Apple Pencil Pro? What do I gain from upgrading? Doesn't it just do the same thing as all the other models? The answer is yes and no so that is where you have to determine if it fits your needs. For starters, there is a big difference and much value to gain from the new Apple Pencil Pro that the other models just didn't offer. For starters, the biggest selling point for me was the tap back haptic that happens when you press the Pencil Pro... this haptic is feedback for when you perform a shortcut and the shortcut you can choose is endless. I made my tapback shortcut to take me to my Goodnotes app. So now, I can be on a meeting listening and quickly grab my pencil pro, press the press, feel the haptic and Goodnotes opens immediately. That shortcut feature, again, was the biggest selling point for me. Now we get to the more advanced differentiation the pencil has to follow between the pencil writing or your hand touching the screen and writing. I can say without a doubt that this has certainly been improved, dare I say perfected, as opposed to this problem happening frequently on other Apple Pencil models. Furthermore, the thickness and flow of the writing is extremely improving, giving you complete lifelike writing experiences. If you are an art/drawing/sketching person, this pencil should be your go to and you should be able to justify upgrading to this new Pencil Pro.Overall, the new Apple Pencil Pro has made a HUGE leap with this new model and I can concretely determine and say that I do see value in upgrading from any of the older pencil models to this New Apple Pencil Pro.

I upgraded to the M4 iPad Pro 13 from the M1 Pro due to several smaller quality-of-life features that together create a better and more productive experience. This includes the device's usability in sunlight, upgraded accessories, improved weight, and better camera position. The improved processing speed and the additional perks of the OLED screen are nice bonuses in terms of longevity because I expect to keep this device for several years. After using the device for a month, I can say that I’m satisfied with my purchase. I bought this weeks ago while at college and finally got home to try it out. My iPad is an iPad Pro 12.9 inch and recently updated. The Apple Pencil would not stay connected long enough in order to pair with my iPad. I have tried restarting my iPad multiple times and left the pencil to charge for periods of time, nothing worked. It's lightning connector is damaged and cannot maintain a secure connection, as when given the option to pair, the box will disappear before I have the option to tap "pair". In the "About" tab in settings, the Apple Pencil options would repeatedly appear and disappear, further proving the connector is broken. While there is no visible damage on the outside and came in the box with all the paper inside it, it looked in good condition externally.
The Apple Pencil Pro is a game-changer for digital artists and note-takers alike. Its precision and responsiveness make it feel incredibly natural, akin to writing on paper. The added pressure sensitivity and tilt recognition enhance creative control, allowing for varied line thickness and shading. Its seamless integration with Apple devices ensures a smooth and intuitive user experience. Despite its premium price, the Pencil Pro's features and build quality justify the investment for serious users.
The Apple pencil 2 was already amazing for drawing and writing naturally but I love how the pro adds haptic feedback and hope more apps take use of it perhaps in the future. Very nice and very on point overall with writing recognition and especially drawing. I am a designer and artist and I love to draw with this pencil in procreate. The pencil knows how much pressure I’m putting on the screen and tilt as well and adjusts strokes according. So worth the money!
I bought this pencil that was supposed to be compatible with the iPad Pro 12.9-inch (6th Generation), per Verizon, but it didn't work when I received it. I called Apple, and they informed me that the pencil is only compatible with the newer iPads that were released 2 months ago. Verizon, please update your compatibility information. Per Apple's compatibility list this pencil is only compatible with with these iPad models:iPad Pro 13-inch (M4)iPad Pro 11-inch (M4)iPad Air 13-inch (M2)iPad Air 11-inch (M2)
Everything went super sommothly. Ma order wasready for pick up in less than 15 min from placing my order. I also used a payment plan with 0% interest which was super helpful. The stuff on site was friendly and quick. Overall a super positive experience. The new Pen Pro has a very impressiveperformance and lots on new and useful features. Very good for schetching and taking hand notes.
I’ve owned Apple Pencils since they were first released, and I think it’s safe to say they’re an essential component to touch screen devices. In fact, I’m not alone in saying “I wish the Pencil would be adapted to the iPhone” — but that’s another story for another time. Touch screen computers actually demand the accuracy of a pointing device - especially when the accessibility option of a smaller display and smaller text sizes are selected. The “twist or pinch” function is “nice to know it’s there”, but I’m in no rush to use it since I don’t do graphic design work.In all, the Pencil is to the touch screen computer what the trackpad and the mouse is to the desktop.
