However, I believe it is supposed to be better on Apple products, it, is only a problem for Android devices as this is an apple adapter and they don't design for android. That being said, these are still usable as an adapter, but they aren't for me and I will most likely be exchanging these for Samsung's adapter as they are the next best thing from the sound quality comparison's I mentioned earlier.

DO NOT use this device on anything else except Apple devices and that being more recent vintage Apple devices according to the label. This is yet another prime example of how Apple lives in their own little world and won't play nice with anything else except their products. That is why I avoid anything Apple like the plague.

I purchased this for use on a Samsung phone - because it was in stock and allegedly compatible with any USB-C device. It works - but the audio volume produced is VERY LOW. I had the phone turned up to full, and compared the audio level to other sources I have plugged in to my professional mixer. Clearly much lower - and unusable in most cases where a louder signal is needed. Going with the Google version to see if it is better.Unfortunately, I already tossed the packaging, so I'm going to eat the $10 paid for this one. Lesson learned.
Its pretty good for how much I paid for it. Unfortunately I need this adapter because phones dont have a aux jack anymore. The audio gets a suppressed alot. For example my old phone with a aux jack in my truck. Going past volume 18 was loud. Hitting around 24 was ear piercing. With this however I can go to the max volume of 31 and wish it went higher. I would recommend as it's better than listening to random songs on the radio.

I bought a Samsung 23+, I had hoped I could learn to deal with wireless headphones. But alas, it's not working. I swear they give me headaches. So to work with this very expensive new phone that i aim to have for 3 or more years, I'll grab an adaptor.So I grabbed this - and, it is terrible in terms of getting sound from the device into adaptor to headphones and into my hearing challenged ears :(I now have my S23+ on maximum volume and struggle to hear the sound via this adaptor in most non quiet environments - buses, trains and walking around the city.I've played around with some of the accessibility settings on the phone, but no success as yet.
I had an iPhone 6s. Since it’s no longer taking updates I had to get a newer iPhone. I got an iPhone 13, but they no longer have the slot for your wired earphones so you need to use wireless earphones. What to do with your old wired ones? Well, instead of throwing them away just get these adapters. They are great!!!! The only thing it does not do, is allow you to charge your phone and use the headset at the same time like you could do with the old iPhone 6s.
Does what it says it does. Most of the time it works fine with my Google Pixel and Windows devices. I've owned it for a few months now though, and it disconnects from my phone pretty easily if you touch it the wrong way. Even just lightly brushing it can sometimes make it disconnect. Also, on my phone I've noticed I have to connect it when the phone is unlocked for it to work. I'm not sure if other phones do that, but I think it's just a security measure so you can't just connect random USB devices, not an issue with this product. Overall it serves me well, just those problems can sometimes be inconvenient.
Like it or not, modern devices have removed regular audio ports, and this is adapter which should’ve come included with ipads and iphones is… not. But yes, it gets the job done but not without caveats. 1) Can’t charge your device unless you wirelessly charge, which requires anothet extra purchase. 2) Works with headsets, not just headphones. 3) I wish it was magnetic, or that it looped intouour device somehow because especially when flying, I have dropped two of these and lost them. 4) over time the cable degrades which requires re purchasing replacements. 5) Should be cheaper
