Apple Watch SE 40mm Gold Aluminium Case GPS + Cellular

I just recently purchased the Apple Watch SE in Rosegold. I love it so much! I didn’t know if I would get much use out of it, but it really is handy getting buzzes on my wrist when little things happen. I think my favorite thing about it, and what I bought it for the health features. I feel it more accurately tracks, my steps than my iPhone, and it keeps account of them on the app. it buzzes me when I’ve reached goals for need to do an activity to help me stay on track with my health. It fits me great and I have very small wrists. It’s comfortable and you barely feel like you’re wearing anything. I’ve had this watch for almost four years so it is quite durable. It is full of features despite being a lower cost Apple Watch. I wear it all the time and charge it while I’m in the shower and getting ready, so it doesn’t lose charge in the middle of the day or during a fitness activity. I like to wear it while I am sleeping so I can track my sleep quality. I subscribe to Apple Fitness Plus so I can have more workouts I can do at home to increase my physical activity which is tracked on the watch. Calls and texts show up on the watch so I can be notified of these with a light pulse without having to be alerted by sound or ringing. I can respond to texts or answer calls right on the watch. I was skeptical at first when I bought this watch seeing as it was the SE version which automatically made me assume it would be cheaply made and inoperable. Boy was I wrong. I have had one Apple Watch prior to this one and this one is better in every aspect. The battery life is about a day and a half for me which is comparable to most smart watches. The display looks very robust and appealing. I haven’t had any issues with the heart rate monitor or the sleep tracker which are both freaking awesome and accurate. I saw many other reviews saying the smaller version can be a bit hard to read which I haven’t had any problems with at all. It’s very easy to use and there are tons of applications for it.

I love my Apple Watch!! I work in Healthcare and if I’m tending to a patient but need an urgent text, it’s so convenient to just look on my watch. I can also make hands free calls, which again is needed in the healthcare setting. I love the fitness apps, heart rate monitor and step counter. My watch can withstand me washing my hands a million times a day. The SE is very durable, just ask my clumsy self. I’ve banged my poor watch around, and it looks like new still. I wear it on my 12 hour shifts and it’s like second skin to me. But that could be due to the fact that I’ve changed the watch band. I am excited to own an Apple Watch now. This was my very first one and only one I’ve ever used until repurchasing a new watch for my husband and I. the battery hardly lasted longer than a day and the alerts for standing were more accurate and easily able to disable when you don’t want them alerting you. I wished there were more apps available and more cool features. I like that it had different watch faces and it’s easy to change them and get new ones and make your own. You can voice text and voice chat as if you were on speaker phone using your wrist so if you get up and go into the kitchen and leave your phone on the couch you can just answer and talk and get your food and it’s all hands free and works well you can hear and speak normally. Overall, I'm really happy I bought this watch. The performance of this watch is incredible! My main purpose for going to a watch was to help curb my iPhone addiction, and it has really helped. I can see my screen time report percentage has dropped drastically since starting to use the watch (I no longer carry my phone with me). My main problem was mindlessly doom scrolling, surfing Internet new websites continuously, and not carrying the phone with me has greatly reduced that temptation and habit. The watch does almost everything I was doing with my iPhone, without the temptation of surfing the Internet. I also have converted to speaking my text messages, which saves me a lot of time, and I really like the alarm function on the watch, which is much gentler to wake ... MoreOverall, I'm really happy I bought this watch. I did not buy the watch for the health functions, so this is not a big deal for me, but the heartbeat monitor is not accurate when exercising. I found this to be the case with a FitBit I bought (inaccuracy during exercise), so this is not an Apple thing, I think it is more of trying to measure heartbeat through the wrist. The resting heart rate is accurate, but I think you'll need a chest band to get an accurate heart rate measurement while exercising. I hope this helps if you are considering buying an Apple Watch!

8 Month Review

I got this watch at a great price. It even has cellular, not that I'm currently using it. The watch has still held up great - no dents or major scratches. Everything works as it did on day 1, but with new features. Apple still supports this watch (as of time of writing this review). I could go on and on about what makes it so great, but that would take much longer than this review can be. I came from a Fitbit Versa 2 with a band that fell apart to this watch and I an say the Apple has been better in every way. The 40mm watch size is the perfect size for my arm - the screen doesn't stick out from my arm. I purchased the watch in black and it matches everything. Don’t do it

Issue is not with Walmart but instead with this watch! I she’s had little issues along the way…. didn’t think much of when those happened. Artery would drain quickly which seemed to get worse with each update… after the factory warranty was up, In a little over 2 years of ownership, the watch suddenly stopped functioning! Charged completely, woke up to a black screen with lines on bottom 1/8 of the screen. Apple instructed to force restart and now there is no songs of a functioning watch . It will it turn on. Let it die completely. Apple wants me to take it to the nearest Apple Store for repair. Nearest store is 70 miles away. Cannot get a label to send in. Apple support told me would be free to have technician look at it THEN suggested I could call the stores and ask

Shop refurb with caution

I was cautiously optimistic ordering a refurb watch, but given the return policy I decided to take a chance. Unfortunately, it has been one problem after another since receiving. Despite being “inspected,” the watch simply doesn’t work properly. It repeatedly goes into SOS mode - even when not even touching it. I can have it on my wrist, not even moving, and it will go into SOS 5 times in 60 seconds. Additionally, the side button (not the crown) doesn’t function properly. I purchased a warranty plan through SquareTrade when purchasing, but when I tried to file a claim, they said I couldn’t because it’s under manufacturer warranty. An hour and a phone call to Apple later, it’s not - the warranty expired 11/2022 - over a year ago! ‘NEW’ watch actually RETURNED/REFURBISHED

Bought this on sale after Thanksgiving, it was the best deal around for $199. Went to Verizon to activate (3 stores and called the Verizon number as well) every place we went said it couldn’t be activated: the store employees couldn’t explain why it was locked. Ultimately the Verizon rep that spoke with us over the phone said it must be that the SIM card was already activated by another carrier, therefore unable to be accessed by Verizon. She said she has seen this type of thing from online Walmart purchases in the past (iPads that won’t connect to the cloud, phones that can’t be activated, etc.)It was then clear to us that the watch we received from Walmart online was either refurbished or returned- and then sold VERY CLEARLY as a new product. The main Walmart customer service person that I called about this told me I could bring back the bogus watch for a price match on a (hopefully) new one in store.This was entirely not the case- after finding a store with the same product, waiting in line forever with plans for an even exchange, I was firmly told that Walmart does not price match online and in-store purchases. At this point, I was pretty defeated. I paid the current price on the watch, returned the bogus one and was able to get the other one activated without incident. I will NEVER trust Walmart online again for electronics- it has incredibly shady business practices, and didn’t even have the decency to try and make it right by at least matching the sale price. Lesson learned. Hope I was able to contribute a little extra to your billions.
