The part you press on the button is not obvious, and requires a firm press to function, with an unnerving click and movement to the point where people might think they have broken it. That's if they even correctly identify where to press the doorbell and press it firmly enough. Otherwise people could think it is broken or that they did press it when in fact they did not. I will not be buying a kinetic doorbell again in a hurry.
