As stated by others, goes off on it's own with out anyone pressing the button and then stops working so if someone does press the button you get no ding and also no dong. To rectify the loss of ding and dong you need to unplug the receiver from the wall too reset it, you will be happy to know that ding and dong will now be present for a few days, but after a short period of time you will find that people will be pressing your button but ding and dong are gone again... If anyone knows where these two go or what they get up to or any information of their where about's I would love to hear about it. Any feed back would be greatly appreciated.

Worked functionally on occasion for about two months, with only semi regular drop outs at key times. Stopped working entirely after three months. When it drops out it 'sings the song of its people' very loudly. It enjoys doing this at 4am. Don't buy this product.

Product packaging and spec sheet omits to tell you it has a bright blue light continuously on, so the unit is warm to the touch. The power consumption spec of each receiver is 2 watts, but you can't tell this from the box. As that is considerably higher power draw than other similar products I wouldn't have bought this had I known.

Instructions indicated the button unit needed to be opened to change the ringtone, turned out it was just a button press on the plug in units. Each plug in can have a different ringtone and volume which is handy. Still working a few months after purchase so, so far so good.
This was super easy to install, but like others often had a different tune play every now and then when there wasn't any visitors. Pretty sure it was a neighbours going off instead. The physical doorbell for outside isn't very durable, it took one person to push a little too hard for it to sort of peel in on itself. Also, has recently just stopped working all together unless I reset it (after 12mths use). When it was working though, everyone loved the tune we picked (its a small world).
I purchased this door chime 10 months ago. For about 8 months, it worked as expected, then went silent. Replaced the battery in the transmitter, but it only worked intermittently and finally stopped completely.
Great alarm, much more stylish than our previous ( more expensive) one that lasted just 2 years. At this price we could buy two that last that long and get 4 years worth! Also this one has two plug ins which covers a much larger area with loud sound. Love it!
Same as others have described. Stops working intermittentlyWorked well for about 6 months, then it suddenly started with the random drop outs every second day or so. When it drops out, it plays the default chime, extremely loudly, sometimes at 3am, sometimes randomly during the day. Need to unplug it, wait a few mins, plug it back in again... but then it only lasts for a few days before going crazy again. It's also subject to random triggering from radio interference.
Does not do what it's supposed to do!We bought this about a year ago, and over that time, it has only worked properly for 6 months max. Very poor quality - the doorbell unit runs out of battery in a matter of weeks, the chime unit "forgets" the bluetooth connection to the doorbell unit, and it also randomly connects to other doorbells in the neighborhood.
Bought it about 2 months ago. Worked well and flawlessly for about 3 weeks - then it suddenly started with the random drop outs every second day or so. And when it drops out, it plays the default chime, extremely loudly. This happens randomly, sometimes at 3am - it's pretty creepy when it happens
