These Tuya compatible Smart Plugs are fantastic and very easy to setup. Part of the thousands smart home devices on the Tuya platform. Tested with Alexa and Google perfect. They have never failed. These come with newer improved firmware and smart hardware. I have 10 of them working throughout the home. Best smart plugs I ever owned. They sit 2 on a double GPO wall plate. A touch button on top for on off if you wish to use the old control

Unlike clock-timer which has to be adjusted at the beginning & end of daylight saving, this plug-in smart-switch automatically adjusts. Or if set in the app to a trigger like sunset it keeps in sync as it changes throughout the year. Which makes it perfect for switching lamps on. Once you get one of these smart-switches you won’t bother with dumb plug-in timers ever again. Also available in outdoor version. Perfect for switching garden lighting or Christmas lights.

With one of these I set up my sound system to switch off automatically after 4 hours. There is a bug in their software which made it switch both off and on repeatedly every 30 seconds when using their 'countdown' feature, but when I switched to using their 'delay' feature, it worked like a charm. The documentation isn't very helpful in understanding the difference between these two options. So you have to be a bit tech-intuitive to figure the thing out. If they would add a way of exporting the usage data to a spreadsheet, that would be amazing.

One of the best things I could possibly buy. Works well got 10 on the go and can easily calculate my daily usage, switch everything off when not home or use it and can separate the bill from other people on the same Meter who aren't very energy smart. Easy to set up and of piece of mind. Big YES from me
Bought this yesterday to automate some lamps, heaters and other devices. Once you get the head around the setup, the process is simple and straight forward and worked out of the box. A little clunky and the on/off process produces a loud 'click', however integrated seamlessly with our Google Home products. The automation feature, while untested, seems very helpful (i.e. can turn a heater on if external temperature drops below amount) or can turn lamps on at certain time each day.
I purchased this to convert a dumb lamp to a smart lamp and it works a treat. I already had a couple of Grid Connect devices so the app was already setup; I simply plugged in the smart plug, put it in pairing mode and the app recognized it immediately. Setup was a breeze. I've enjoyed setting up automation with my newly converted smart lamp and will likely be getting some more Grid Connect products.
Excellent easy to use products - very handy in the shorter, cooler months to be able to remotely control lights and heaters so one comes hone to a nice warm house with a few lights on! Highly recommended! :)
Bought one and it was great so I bought a few more for my aquarium lights. 4 months later and they turn on by themselves overnight, don’t turn off when they’re set to, or don’t turn on when they should. I really like being able to turn things on and off from my phone, but if the timer function doesn’t work properly it’s pointless.
great product, extreamly fast to conect to the smart app and has allowed me to switch off the freezers and fridges at night to save wasted energy, this unit has many options for scedualing timmers and default turn options after power cut. would highly recomend, so far the simplest to conect to compaired to others i have used, hence a glowing review.
to start with this product seemed to work great, but then it had troublle connecting to the WIF so i moved it to within 1m of the router. it often says its offline and switches itself off for some reason. it worked well to start with but then went haywire.
