The naughty cat was also sleeping on the engine on my husband car and had knocked a pipe off, so he has put on an extra clip to stop it doing this. It has a very wide viewing field, we are really impressed to be able to almost see our whole road. Cloud storage keeps everything secure for 30 days and you get 3 months free then will have to pay a small subscription. It can identify parcels, people and animals. It also has a 2 way audio system which we regular use. It has a built in spot light. I cannot recommend this security system enough and if I could give it 10 stars I would. I am raving about it to all my friends saying it is one of the best products we have ever had.

I’ve had many cameras for outside my home but none have come close to the quality of videos this provides! Initially the set up is fairly simple with step by step guides to get started, it took no more than 15 minutes to completely set up with my internet and connect all cameras to the hub and my phone. So once all devices were connected and notifications set I got a friend to come install them on the outside of the house, it was super easy to attach to and the magnet I am very impressed with as it gives for easy detaching and attaching when battery needs charged. I like that on the app you can set your own area you want motion notifications for so anyone comes into the garden it pings straight away which is superb! I brought the arlo Ulta2 not that long ago and to say I'm impressed is an understatement. The arlo can work indoors and outdoors (even though it's meant to be outdoors) we got the big pack so had a few cameras which was really nice as we set up 1 outside and the rest inside- even using one as a "Cat Cam" which worked really well! The night vision of the ultra is nothing I have ever seen before and the quality (day and night) is extremely clear in 4k resolution and meant i could see both outside and inside clearly. Having the Ultra also means I can move it about without worrying about it "dropping out"(within reasonable distance to the home hub) without having to worry about cords needing to be plugged into a power source and the actual camera- it's wireless and so ... MoreI brought the arlo Ulta2 not that long ago and to say I'm impressed is an understatement. With all the good there is unfortunately bad - so the ultra is a little delayed when watching it from your device. However,I'm pretty sure it's suppose to be this way - I would say the delay is about 9 or so seconds-so maybe not first choice for a "real time" camera, this however doesn't stop me from loving it. As well as being amazingly clear both day and night , did I mention it has a light you can turn on & off with ease from your phone?- and another impressive thing is on your phone you can make it sound an alarm ! (This doesn't seem as delayed as the vido) , and my gosh it's loud! And last it's sharing capabilities- this means not only can I access the Ultra but so can my other half or whom I mark to have access. These are but a few things the camera does, I won't spoil it all though and will leave out bits for you to find out
These Arlo cameras are of high quality, I have been using 1080p to stream and the images during day and night are extremely clear so I know that their 4k ability will be second to none! I did encounter a very minor issue of a 3 second lag however I am in a rural area with slightly weak Internet speeds so I expected this, it was not lagging enough to cause any disappointment. I absolutely love that I was able to use the integrated spotlight what with all Street lights going off at midnight here, it really does light up a large area but you need to ensure it doesn't directly shine into a neighbours windows because it is bright. The outdoors mount is also easy to fit and adjust with a screw adjusted swivel mount. Set up is done via an app that, although easy enough to use, takes a lot of fiddling to get the cameras set up to do the right kind of monitoring at the right time. And if you don't persevere with it, you'll end up just getting spammed with notifications every time there's movement or sound. The ultra 2 offered the perfect package and the cameras were super easy to install. I particularly love the spotlights as we live in the countryside and going into the garden at night with the dog had meant me using a torch. What I also love about the Arlo system is how easy it is to control the notifications, if you don't want your phone to receive them you can easily mute them. It carries on recording and you can view them at a later time. The system seems to ignore your settings, activity zones don't work and ultimately important events have been totally missed by my cameras while I was under the impression they were working. Battery life is also unacceptable. I've missed a break in to my house, while the cameras picked up cars driving by outside of my activity zone, recording them as "motion" whilst set to ignore all other motion, but failed to pick up the person walking directly infront of the camera breaking into my house. To me this renders this product unfit for purpose. I have complained to customer support, which is a long and pointless process on more than 1 occasion for no resolution. Installing cameras with the app is very easy. Batteries for interior camera for cameras good location and app open. Soon these will be in working order. The range in relation to the base station can't be long, but on the other hand, I'm already starting to suspect that the camera's signal display doesn't tell the whole truth.
