Armaf Tres Nuit Eau De Toilette 100ml Spray

The only thing separating this fragrance from its overpriced cousin Creed Green Irish Tweed, is the opening. For Tres Nuit, you get a beautiful blast of lemongrass/lemon verbena before it dries into a deep grassy lawn. For GIT, the beginning is how it remains throughout, which is the green grassy lawn. Aside from the opening, these fragrances are near identical.

I want to start off by telling you that I bought this bottle on my own as a blind buy, from the opinions of many youtube influencers. This is the EDP (Eau de Parfum) version. NOT the EDT (Eau de Toilette) version. I have not tried the EDT version...YET. I paid just a little over $30 for this bottle on EBay. Which goes for several hundred dollars all day everyday. My nose isn't trained enough to name the notes in Tres Nuit, but I can tell you that it smells amazing. It is green, fresh, and clean smelling. It is not an overly powerful fragrance. As with most fresh fragrances, it does not project super far nor does it last all day. I have heard the same said about GIT. I personally spray it on real heavy and will just reapply through the day as needed. I haven't had s chance to wear it in warmer weather yet. So I can't say if it will perform better or not, but if it is like most fragrances. I suspect it will perform better in warmer weather. For $30 a bottle, I have no issue spraying as needed. I can't say I would feel the same way if it was a bottle I had spent several hundred dollars on. I would say it projects 2-3 feet at first and will last me around 4-5 hours. Which isn't the best performance, but for what it is and factoring in the price. It is just fine. My only problem with Tres Nuit is that now I am really wanting to smell Green Irish Tweed since it is supposed to be the original. I can't recommend Tres Nuit enough!

This is one pf my current favorites for warmer weather. It smells like freshly cut, dewy grass with an overall feeling of just showered clean. It is classy, has moderate projection, and a very nice sillage. I usually do about 4-6 sprays and it will last through an 8hr work day. It is definitely more of a sophisticated scent, so I think it suits 20+ agewise.

Ahh Armaf where to start. This is probably their best clone to date. I LOVE Green Irish Tweed, but I dont like that price tag. Tres Nuit can be found for less than $30 and it smells about 85-90% the same. Similar notes, off the top you have Lemon, Verbena, and Iris. Middle notes are Lavender and Violet, and base notes are Ambergris and Sandalwood. Its a slightly sweeter GIT. Cant get enough of this fragrance!

Armaf's Tres Nuit - a little synthetic but smooth & easy to pull off.

I actually purchased this as a Christmas gift for my father in law, but could not resist giving it a wearing on my skin. I was actually blown away. My father's signature scent was Halston Z14, no doubt an old school classic known for it's vetiver which is dryer than my wife's sense of humor. I tried to get him on Cool Water back in the day and like all aquatic scents he was uninterested - but I've always heard people comparing Cool Water and Tres Nuit/Green Irish Tweed, so that is the scent DNA I was expecting. None of that here. Tres Nuit is a grown man fragrance but not in that Polo Green type of way. It is mass appealing, undaring but refuses to be sweet like other trendy fragrances being worn by today's youth. Nobody Happy until Momma is Happy!

My wife bought this for our 19th Anniversary to replace the Jimmy Choo Man I've been wearing the last year and a half. I use 2 shots to the chest every morning. I have a very physical job as a flooring installer and I drip sweat 10 hours straight. When I get home my wife still loves my smell from Tres Nuit. Still going strong. Momma is Happy, that makes Daddy Happy!

Smells great BUT

Day 1 - It was alright. Not bad not terrible. Used 8-10sprays and stored it well cool & dark.Day 2- It smelled great. I just love it. Turned into easily One of my favourite fragrance. But the performance is bad. :'(I'm planning to store it in a cool place and leave it for 3weeks. As I've Heard from reviewers that the real deal is after that. So, hoping to see some good results as I absolutely love the fragrance.I'll update.

Story of sweet auroma and average longevity..

First f all great scent , good sweet beautiful smell.opening is little harsh, but after its settled down, then d smell to die for.. love it. Just if d longevity is little higher then it would b d best.. still a great purchase for close and evening environment.. not for real heat or humidity weather..

Tres nuit is tres bien!

Yes I would say this is in line with various other clones of the great Green Irish Tweed. A super fresh aquatic that dazzles the senses in both good and bad ways. However, I think I have to place this as the best smelling to me personally. Though created by the same perfumer as Creeds GIT, the number one clone Coolwater just doesnt intrigue me as much as TN. CW comes off cloying to my nose, very sweet like sugared ocean water. The only complaint I would have, and Im sure its one shared with many fragrances in the sub $30 range is the poor sillage and projection. It only wafts about for an hour or so and then becomes a skin scent for another five. But at this price point you can just make a decant sprayer of it and refresh the scent as you like. Welcome change!

A slightly unusual but definitely pleasing fragrance. Starts with a strong lavender hue but settles into a mild aquatic note. Longevity & sillage can be worked upon. Best part? This is easily one of the best value for money fragrances that you can get your hands on.
