Want to smell like Pine-Sol? This is the one for you! But seriously, it has a harsh/brash opening. The lemon and citruses really stand out for the first half hour or so. It dries down to smell the bitter dry leather accords. Clean smoky leather wiped with lemon scented wipes. No but seriously, it just was not for me but every skin is different, it might be for you. Try it out if smoked citrus and leather seem interesting to you. The leather isn't very overpowering as other leather fragrances. I think it smells a bit fresh and very masculine and it isn’t overly fruity or musky, but very well balanced. Now once the fragrance drys down, this is when CDIM becomes very similar to Creed Aventus, like 90-95% of the actual scent, which to me for $30 is worth it. My only suggestion to truly have a perfect Aventus clone is maybe get demeter pineapple and apply both demeter pineapple and CDIM on skin together. You’ll get a bit more of that Creed Aventus fruity note with the pineapple, but definitely not necessary. Overall, I’m really satisfied with this product and all the women in my family love this fragrance, just go buy it already. It’s the safest blind buy you can get! :)

I can't understand how anyone would find this scent appealing in any way, especially enough so much so that they would want to put it on their body every day. But if it smells awful for the person wearing it, and anyone around you, and it only smells good to others as you walk by them, then this is not a very good product at all.At its very best, it faintly smells like a spa, like the water you would drink with various fruits in them. But that is only when you can't smell it very well. The closer you get to it, the more it just smells like lemon bug spray. It does not smell masculine at all, it could very well be unisex. I do not recommend this fragrance at all, if you're looking for a new scent, you should just go to a fragrance dealer and try them out before committing to anything. I have not tried Creed Aventus, so perhaps that is still worth it to buy as that supposedly does not have any harsh citrus/bug spray smells on it. But even then, try a sample of it first before committing.Oh, and I am also not someone who is sensitive to scents usually, but this fragrance gave me a bad headache. It could be because I'm smelling it often to see if the scent has changed as it's dried (which it hasn't at all), but it's generally pretty harsh as well.

It smells differently when you try and smell it directly on your skin. This is also why some think it may not have the expected performance (projection) and may be hard to smell on your skin. Pro tip is to apply this to a male friend or your Dad, son, brother, etc. and wait a half hour and smell it on them when they walk by. Then you’ll truly know how people will experience it on you. You can then decide if this has the performance you're looking for.

Lives up to the hype!

I've heard so many times about the "harsh lemon pledge" open, but in my opinion that is overstating things. Of course the opening is different, that's true of any fragrance. When this stuff dries down- put aside for a second the fact that it is a "creed Aventus clone" - it is a wonderful, amazing scent. I own several fragrances, including creed Aventus, and this juice is absolutely one of my favorites. I feel like I robbed somebody for the price point on this. And, on my skin, I get easily 10 hours of longevity with a good couple hours of strong projection. As for Fragrancex as a company, the prouduct arrived quickly and packaged well. I have and will continue to purchase fragrances from them. In closing, cdnim is a home run from Afnan and I rate it 10/10.

The longer you smell something, the more your brain tries to ignore it. Just like how someone's house can smell of pet odor (urine, etc) but they don't smell it, or especially body odor. Since cologne is a strong smell, your sense of smell will learn to ignore it quickly. The cologne isn't weaker, you're just not as sensitive to it. If you ask someone who doesn't see you very often (girlfriends and wives can also experience olfactory fatigue), like a coworker to smell you, I guarantee they will smell your cologne. Some are ridiculously potent so only 1 squirt is more than enough (Tom Ford's Tobacco Vanille and Amouage's Interlude Man are ridiculously potent - I wish I could do just a half squirt).

However, this inexpensive fragrance is better than Mont Blanc Explorer and last longer.However, although very close to Aventus, this isn’t Aventus but can be a good alternative. The opening isn’t too strong and the dry down isn’t very much far off. Like I said it’s pretty good. Also, the longevity isn’t too bad.
