There were only a few color selections of this Giorgio Armani lipstick available. Based on the swatches I saw online, I was not sure any would be to my liking. I was underwelmed. When purchasing a new lipstick, I always select bright candy apple / vintage bright reds or hot pink or fuchsia shades and none of these were options. I enjoy wearing this lipstick as it is long lasting on me. I did not have any smudging and it still looked nice even after having lunch. :) I recommend this brand and lip color. I always wear high end lipsticks and this is a brand I would love to use again.

I really wasn’t sure of this lipstick at first but I knew I wanted to try on every gorgeous shade. I ended up with “Intimate #109” which worked really well with my skin tone. Initially, upon the first application, the lipstick felt a bit heavy and had a little more shine than I’m used to. I felt a little more deflated with each passing in the mirror, and it was really turning me off. There were a few times within the first 10-15min that I just wanted to run for a tissue and start rubbing it off but I suddenly started to feel the heaviness lighten up and the shine seemed to have lessened somehow, as if it were “settling” andI found I really started to like it. This product was just okay for me. I am new to this brand of lipstick. First, it is darker than my preference, so I tended to not go over my lips so many times to ensure that it wouldn't get even darker. This matte lipstick, again not my preference as I like a combination matte/cream lipstick, this was drying to my lips and I did not find that it was a "Longwear Satin Lipstick" as the packaging claims. My lips didn't feel moisturized and I didn't find that the product stayed on my lips long - in fact - I kept having to add more lipstick to my lips due to the dry texture of this lipstick. When I press my lips together, I don't like this dry feeling. I want a softer lip w/ a bit of gloss & sheen to them. I received Giorgio Armani Lip Power Longwear lipstick in Intimate 109 to review. First the pros. Intimate 109 is a beautiful natural soft pink. I feel it can be worn as an everyday color for me because it gives a "naked but better" lip color. The Lip Power has a satin finish, and is creamy and comfortable on the lips. Now for the cons. It is not long wearing at all! The only way it will stay in place is you absolutely do nothing with your lips, especially eat and drink. The lipstick transfers on straws and cups, it is not resistant to oils, so it came off while eating. I think the satin finish of the Lip Power does not allow for long wear, and will need to be touched up throughout the day.
