Fantastic product an all round success. You couldnt ask for a more comfortable trainer. Its like walking on air. No more achy feet. Im an 8 and they are a perfect fit on every level. I chose black and white to go with my workout gear but Im so thrilled with them that I will definitely be looking for more in different colours to wear with my spring-summer clothes

An awesome cushioning shoe, without painful annoying seams on the inside. They are seriously like wearing two goose down pillows gently bound to your feet. I did not notice at ordering that they are seam free, but I will always try in the future to buy this same style of shoe. Thank you for the superior comfort. I bought one size bigger than normal for my orthopedic insoles. They fit in perfectly! I would highly recommend this shoe.

I was looking for an affordable shoe for getting back into running and this shoe has been more or less perfect so far! They’re super lightweight and breathable (which is great if you’re sweaty like me!! or if you run in warmer weather). The shoes were a little tight on the midfoot on the first two wears but they adapted to my foot shape super quickly and now I don’t experience any discomfort.Since I’m just getting back into running, I’ve been doing relatively short runs and the cushioning is perfectly fine for that, but I think you might want a little more if you’re doing longer distances! My only complaint about these shoes - and I may be being a little nitpicky here - is the lace length. Searching for size 9 trainers has always been a nightmare but Asics has become my go-to (especially online if the store only has 8s). Been suffering with plantar fasciitis related pain for months and whilst these haven’t healed it completely, they’ve made walking around a lot more comfortable. Can’t speak for how they perform while running but would recommend them for daily out and about usage! Very lightweight, comfortable and feel high quality - very happy :)
Love Asics but these are so disappointing, uncomfortable. Thin material and I'm sure my toe will break through within a month. Very hard to slip into even though I always order a 10.5 in asics. I have bought numerous pairs of asic in different models over the last 10 years and I'm totally brand loyal. They fit me like no other. But I'm just so disappointed in this last pair. I really wish I could get a credit towards buying a better pair. Love my morning walks but I don't look forward to trying to squeeze into these uncomfortable shoes.
I so wanted to love these shoes . My previous new balance shoes were like gloves & walking on clouds. The fit of these shoes is horrible. I want to say they are too small, but it is more an uncomfortable fit. Some areas they fit fine, but others make your feet feel like they are in a vice. I didn’t try a larger size as it wasn’t about the fit more the cutThey look gorgeous, light as a feather & cushioned nicely. Maybe they are designed for a certain type of foot? I don’t know but it has put me off new balance a bit, they seem to have changed the cut of a few shoes.I previously has the 1080s & they were amazing but the heel has been changed hence I tried these.Wish I’d listened to the reviews that say fit isn’t great
This is my third pair of ASICS trainers and, although I've only worn them once, they appear to be as good as the last two pairs. My last pair were GEL-KAYANO and I loved them - so comfortable and great for running and the gym. I couldn't get the same ones this time, so decided to try the EXCITE 8 based on the reviews and information. I can't imagine they will be a disappointment, but if they are, I will amend my review once I've been out in them a few more times. I really enjoy ASICS trainers, would definitely recommend and will buy more when these wear out.
I’ve always rated ASICS and needed some new trainers for training for a half marathon after a couple years away. These are super comfy and supportive whilst running. I had a knee injury from my last half marathon and it normally is aggregated during a run wearing another brand trainers but I didn’t have any issues whilst wearing these shoes. I did size up to 4.5 rather than 4 as recommended by other reviewers which was a blessing as I don’t think a 4 would’ve fit.
I was so excited to buy these as replacements to my gel-excite 7 that were worn out in the heels. I walk 3-5 every day so it is important to find comfortable shoes to support my feet. I put these on and right away noticed that they were not as roomy in the toe box but was something I could live with. I began using and after just a couple of uses at a couple of miles each i noticed i was having heel pain on just one foot. I started alrernating shoes to see if it was just due to making the switch to new shoes. Unfortunately it was not so i looked in the one shoe snd figured out the problem. The insole curves up the back of the shoe slightly to give more heel support but for me it is causing pain. It only happens in one shoe because my other foot is slightly smaller. ... MoreI was so excited to buy these as replacements to my gel-excite 7 that were worn out in the heels. I've had several pairs of Asics and I find them comfortable. I'm not a runner, so I mostly wear them as an every day trainer, but I do a lot of walking. I usually wear a hole in the footbed within a year. I wish you could easily remove the insert to put in a new one, but they're glued down very well! One thing with this model is that the laces were quite short - I had to skip one set of holes when lacing so I could double knot. Otherwise, I'm generally happy with these!
