5 Months Later: Beginning to Fall Apart
Five months after purchasing from the Amazon Asics Storefront and they have NOT held up well.I wear these shoes for jogging and strength training at the gym 4x weekly and for my practicum in a hospital twice a week. Fivemonths in (purchased 9/11/2023) and the toe cover has begun to come away from the shoe leaving a hole at the toe. I now alsosee that the heel area is beginning to tear.I have been very intentional about unlacing and loosening the laces with putting on and taking off the shoes to prevent this butthe right shoe has a hole at the heel and the left is not far behind with the fabric wearing thin. At just under $150 for runningshoes (at the time of purchase), the quality has not held at all. I have had Asics previously that held up well for nearly ... I have had Asics previously that held up well for nearly 18 months.I contacted customer service regarding this and they explained that they could not help with the defects because the shoes werepurchased from the Asics Amazon storefront via a seller that they do not cover. Sellers through the Asics Amazon Storefront arenot all verified by Asics and they do not stand by the quality of product purchased through their Amazon storefront. They have been incredibly comfortable (my favorite since the 15s), but I am so let down by how poorly they have held up.... Best shoes on the planet
I bought these shoes a few months ago. They are great shoes so great in fact I never felt better. Being on a limited income due to my health the only enjoyment and exercise I found enjoyable is walking. I walk about 15 miles a day in these shoes. They have held up so nicely however they began to smell horribly from my feet sweat. I can’t afford a new pair so I put baking soda in them as directed to do from tik tok and I left them out for the night only to have it rain on me whwn it wasn’t scheduled to rain. My shoes are now ruined because the baking soda I put in there was pretty much the entire box trying my hardest to get the smell out. I havent been able to walk in the last 4 days and my feet hurt from not having these amazing shoes on. To anyone with any foot ... MoreI bought these shoes a few months ago. To anyone with any foot odor please don’t make the same mistake I did you will be just as heart broken as I am. These shoes gave my hope and changed my life. Best purchase ever made. Hoping I can save enough money in the next few months to get another pair. My health has truly declined from not being able to walk.... Show more

Comfy shoes for a bigger guy
I love these shoes! Being a bigger guy, 6’2” 290lbs, comfortable shoes are high on my list of exercise priorities. These shoes have changed my ability to stick with an exercise program that’s heavy on walking and running. The cushioning is the best I’ve ever experienced. So good I bought a pair for each of my 20 something kids. My daughter works 12 hour shifts in a hospital, and my son is a college student that walks to and from wherever he goes. They both agree that these are the most comfortable shoes they’ve ever had. To be able to actually increase my exercise routine to include a daily 4.5mile walk/run at nearly 60 years of age wasn’t something I thought was possible. These shoes have made that possible. My knees don’t ache like they used to, and my running is ... MoreI love these shoes! Being a bigger guy, 6’2” 290lbs, comfortable shoes are high on my list of exercise priorities. Cumbersome Shoe
I have been reading and watching reviews for the Nimbus 25 and since it is a highly rated shoe, I thought I would give it a try. I have never ran in Asics so waited for a reduced price before purchasing online. I purchased the soothing sea and silver shoe and if you like mint green, of which I do, the color is beautiful. Unfortunately that is where the positives end.The shoe looked huge upon opening the box. I wear a 7.5 and thought I was sent an 8 or 8.5 upon first look. Confirmed I had size 7.5 and even fit lengthwise when tried on, however shoe felt wide, although the shoe is regular width. Took it out for a three-mile run and because of the stretchy upper, could not get a good lock down to the point I felt my left foot rolling inward (I normally have a neutral ... In addition, the shoe felt cumbersome on my feet. Since I normally run at least five miles, I have not taken it out again because I do not want to end up injured. Not sure what I am going to use the shoe for. One star for the pretty color.... Show more

miserable, awful shoe
I hate this shoe. I bought it online; it was the shoe that seemed the closest to the shoe I had purchased prior to this one, which I loved, but could not find. I took it out for a for a short run after receiving it and was gobsmacked. It hurts my feet to no end. I've only been running for four years, but was a dancer prior so I can deal with some discomfort but this was ridiculous. It started with a numbing metatarsal, so I loosened the laces. That helped for a while but came back with a vengeance. By the time I returned from my run, one of my toes was killing me and the whole front box of both feet were on fire. I called ASICs to beg for a solution was told that since I had already worn the shoe, nothing could be done. I will not be buying ASICs again and am ... MoreI hate this shoe. I will not be buying ASICs again and am extremely disappointed in the company's lack of care. There should be a policy in place, particularly when purchasing online, that shoes can be returned within a reasonable amount if usage. How can one know if the shoe is right if they buy it sight unseen, without trying it???? As I mentioned, I have been very loyal to ASICs but will now experiment with other brands and I will NEVER buy a shoe online again.... Show more

Really Like
I bought this because I thought it would be great for daily runs and long runs. I loved the super blasts so much, I thought this would be great to add into my collection. I will say they are very cushioned and plush, very comfortable on the foot. Roomy toe box, I love.I enjoy them for walking and recovery. I enjoyed them for 10 miles or less. They’re really comfy on the treadmill too. They do pick up a bit when doing shorter intervals. I recently took them on an 18 mile run and I didn’t love them for that. My feet felt pretty good but they did start irritate my pinky toes after about 10-11 miles. No blisters just rubbing. That’s the first time I felt that from these shoes. I think from the softness of the footbed, the way my foot was “sinking in” just irritated ... MoreI bought this because I thought it would be great for daily runs and long runs. Regretful buy
Regretful purchase from Rebel. I have worn them for 2 months to really be able to assess their suitability.Yes they feel like “walking on clouds” initially due to the high stack but the inbuilt plastic in the heel is on an angle and wasn’t obvious when first purchased. Although the plastic hasn’t broken through the fabric it digs in to the heel and is extremely painful. I have to wear bandaids on the heel for every wear or my heel is just ripped open and bloody. Secondly the fit is not great. The width is fine but the space between top and bottom for an average foot is insufficient so I’m constantly with blisters on my toes. Regretfully purchased these on clearance and I can no longer wear them due to the pain they cause. (Yes I was fitted by a Rebel staff member ... MoreRegretful purchase from Rebel. So cushy!
Somehow these sneaks manage to feel both squishy and supportive. I have a high arch and high composition and Asics are a favorite go-to brand. Got the hot pink color and received so many compliments on them. I use These exclusively for the gym and places inbetween but not as regular casual wear. So far I love them, but the only impact has been on the treadmill, indoor bike, and getting in and out of the car. I’m tired of sneakers with white souls. It seems like the only time you can get a solid color soul is on a shoe like the one I picked or something black which makes it look like a work shoe. How about a white or gray sneaker with a black soul? So it’s not getting marked up and doesn’t look like stained filth after one time out in my red clay environment? That ... Too different from previous models
Have been wearing gel nimbus for almost a decade. Unfortunately the 25s are so different that I’m forced to look elsewhere for my daily trainer. First off, I got blisters at the heel for the first 50-100 miles. Ordering the same size I’ve always worn with the nimbus. Next, there is much less responsiveness. I feel like I’m sinking into the ground with every step. Never felt this way with previous models. Finally, the tread is laughably weak. I find myself slipping and sliding on wet pavement. Who thought this design was acceptable?! It verges on dangerous in any subpar conditions. Once you get beyound the blisters the shoes are comfy, but the other faults force me to betray the nimbus moving forward.... Show more

Was not a good fit for me
Really disappointed in these shoes. I'm going on an international trip soon and really wanted a good pair of walking shoes. I have been wearing these on shorts walks for a few weeks now, and I have found nothing particularly great about them other than they're cute shoes. They kill my arches for some reason. I thought the way they cupped your ankle was a really good idea, but it's actually terrible. No matter what pair of socks you wear, they pull down the socks and then leave blisters on your heel. I also thought I would like the tongue design on these, but, again, poor design. The netting just kind of digs into the top of your foot and leaves a painful mark. I don't know who these shoes would be a good fit for. I don't have anything special about my feet or ... MoreReally disappointed in these shoes.
