I was fortunate enough to snag a pair in my size!My first marathon was in 2007, and dozens upon dozens later I'm still running races in my Nimbus. Some of the new styles have been decent changes, and some have left a lot to be desired. This is the first redo where everything is perfect: tongue is soft and stretchy, there's appropriate cushion w/o feeling heavy, the sole is responsive, and the toe box is roomy even for my wide feet.These shoes are the real deal. Worth the $ for the latest version.

I have been running in the Nimbus range of shoes for over 10 years. I have tried different lines and brands but have always found Nimbus to be the ones for me. I loved how I could order the latest model online without worrying about how they would fit and they always accommodated my orthotics without any problems .Unfortunately, this is no longer the case...I ordered the Gel-Nimbus 25 just before Easter and was so excited to try them out. I wore them about 4 times before developing a sharp pain on the side of my left foot while out for a run. It was so painful I ended up limping home. I was told not to wear the Nimbus 25s and go back to the 24s when my foot recovered.3 months later, I still have pain in my foot and can't run or even walk very fast AND I have a pair of $260 running shoes I can't wear! As an active person not being able to run or even walk is very frustrating and knowing it was caused by these shoes makes it even worse. Very disappointed!

All the YouTube reviews had these shoes in the top 3 all the time so I decided to buy a pair. From the outset they felt really comfortable and supportive. Very comfortable to run in - obviously what they are designed for! wearing these gave me the cushioning that I needed and the extra bounce to make my run that little bit more enjoyable.The sizing is a little small due to the padding on the inside back of the shoe so I would say order 1/2 to a whole size larger than your usual size otherwise they will be a little tight.The only negative I would point out that is that the finish could have been a little better. This new version has reduced heel drop which eases the pressure off of the forefoot (old version pushed me onto my toes and caused pain in the ball of my foot). This new version is more cushy and has a pull tab at the heel to make it easy to get the shoe on. I am very happy that there are some fun colors in the Wide version. I ordered the silver/purple in size 8 Wide. I sized up one whole size from my regular shoe size. I have high arches and I am a heel striker. I bought these about a month ago and have had nothing but problems. I have been running for over 35 years, including D1, so I have worn a lot of shoes. I have mainly worn ASICS for the last 20 years. After logging about 75 miles in this shoe the right heel sits much lower that the left and I am not a heel striker. It feels as though I am wearing two different shoes. In addition, I have developed knee pains in both knees. I feel as though the roll off this shoe isn’t natural. Maybe the shoe is too stacked or the slope of the shoe isn’t correct but something is off. Be warned they feel good standing in them when you’re trying them on but for me there is something off when running in them. Not worth it. Contacted ASICS and they don’t care about my concerns
This is my second pair this year. I run (a lot) and these are by far the best shoes for my feet. I have high instep so other brands just do not seem to fit me properly. I'm not a professional runner but what I can say is that my times have been better since wearing these. I have a neutral pronation. These are light and initially bouncy, in fact at first I felt my shoes were running faster than me but once my legs caught up we were good together. I bought these a whole size bigger because I was struggling with my toe nails with the previous half size bigger, probably because the toe section is a little tighter. Overall though, just love them!!!
I have nimbus 24 and really love it. It is soon 500km on them, so i wanted to have another good pair of trainers. I was not expecting it to be better than 24, just because old shoe is so good. Was quite wrong. 25 was intended as my second shoe but immediately turned to no1. I train for my first half marathon and my weekly milage is around 25 km last weeks. It fit me just perfect from the first run. Foot is super comfortable and no issues so far after 3 long runs. I run in sweden, rain is very common and was not a problem.Not to forget that the platinum edition is super cool. Amazing design. Really love it.I would recommend it.
