I have used Sports Research astaxanthin for a few years now. I first discovered it when researching on-line and learning about possible sun protection capabilities.I am blond and fair skinned. If I am not careful I can get sun-burned very easily.Well, that's not true! Since taking astaxanthin daily, I have not had a sun-burn. This is even with hours of sun exposure. My skin may become red, but there has not been burned skin.I refuse to slather up with chemical sun lotions.
