Awesome deal ! Fabulous customer service.Swift delivery.The laptop itself is gorgeous.Took a little getting used to, cos the typing felt a little weird at first, but it's a good keyboard.Comes with free MS Office 2021.Gotta go to MS Store, and claim it.Customer service taught me that if I wanted to have the entire system (notifications included) in English only, go to settings and change to English (US) first.It will take a long time to download and set up.After that, can set language to English (SG) and Chinese (SG) without any hiccups.Really like this laptop a lot. Very fast, light and looks amazing.

Asus Lunar Star Laptop

So far this unit with Lunar Lake is a good purchase. I needed a high end window laptop and this being my first Asus product, impressed so far. Coming from Huawei Laptops that are great also but hard to find in States

Best Ultrabook so far.

Excellent Machine, I have owned many of the newer laptop including the PX13 HX370. This one is much quieter, performance is good. Battery life is great. Finally intel and Asus is putting back some nice laptops. Played Black Myth on it and it is actually pretty smooth after adjusting some setting. Plus, the ceralumium is gorgeous!

Great Improvement

Solid thin and light laptop with great performance. Only got hot during initial updates which is pretty much expected at this point with windows laptops. During normal use its super quiet and cool. Display is amazing and does not that screen door effect that some OLED touchscreen laptops do.

Great launch, sleek without issues

Immediately, I've had great impressions with the S14. It has great stand-by/sleep battery performance. Over the course of 20 hours, the battery only decreased by 1% from full charge. This is great as I'm constantly moving between classrooms or around my workplace, and now I can do so without worrying about shutting down the laptop down.During real world usage at 80% brightness, I had the S14 at 100% battery at 10AM and it decreased to 7% at 6PM, so a 93% decrease over 8 hours. During this period I was working heavily and switching through multiple Chrome tabs, programming in Android Studio, emulating Kali in VirtualBox, and participating in Zoom lectures. I was very impressed by the laptop holding up, generally I would need to find an outlet in the middle of the day.I am certain if it was a less hectic day, I could easily push around 12 hours usage under casual use. One helpful feature that Windows has been pushing with any device with an IR camera (S14) with presence sensing where the screen dims when you look away or locks itself when you step away helps reduce battery drain as well.As for the components, realistically the only upgradeable/replaceable parts would be the battery, the NVMe SSD (M2280), the fans, and the WiFi card. Everything else seems to be soldered down so 16GB DDR5 is all you'll be getting.Some further context about my stance on this laptop is in contrast to my experiences with the Zenbook S16 that I exchanged for this. I had issues with upgrading the storage from 1TB and driver issues where the WiFi adapter would not properly work after waking from sleep requiring a restart. Also I found the lid to stain very easy with the Scandinavian White, just sliding it in and out against my felt pocket in my backpack had black stains on the corners.Whereas the S14 took my 2TB 980 Pro upgrade without issue and I've yet to run into any driver issues with it. The S16 would fail to complete the drive upgrade no matter whether the data was cloned, installed from asus cloud reecovery, or clean installed (would BSOD). To be clear, this may have been patched for the S16 already, but right away the launch for the S14 has been far better without issue.The Intel Arc APU has decent performance, nothing great but good enough you would be able to play games. I found that Deadlock could be run ~55-70 FPS on low settings, Helldivers on steam deck graphics settings on performance rendering ~60 fps, and Cyberpunk ~29fps on low with xess on performance.Ultimately, I'm very happy with the S14. It's portable, has solid power, and its resolution is large enough that coding is not an issue despite being 14".

It's fairly bright at 400nits, has great HDR support, and has adaptive sync! Yes this screen is 48-120Hz adaptive sync and provides a tear-free gaming experience.Speakers are above average, clear and loud, Dolby Support in the driver helps add a bit more. Very pleased.The keyboard feels great to type on and the backlighting gets very bright and each key is lit properly with the white light! The text on the keyboard is also big and easy to find your key quick.I tested the display port out feature over TB4, this laptop has 2x TB4. It had no issue running my 4K 240Hz OLED. Great to see this.Fan noise on this laptop is minimal even when running the fans at maximum speed for gaming (you can choose fan speed in Asus software) or nearly dead silent when doing light tasks.And finally battery life, WOW! This laptop has what feels like all day battery life. Insane for an x86 Intel laptop. They finally did it, it seems they now have class leading battery life.If you're in the market for a new laptop, this should be top of your list! If you're a student or business professional that wants a thin and mobile laptop with great performance and all day battery this is for you. Then when you want to wind down and do a bit of light gaming, it can do that too. Overall, just a great laptop that does well in all areas.

Well-crafted thin and light

Lovely thin and light laptop with performance as advertised. There is minimal bloatware and the ASUS apps are both useful and unobtrusive.
