Works very well. described as intended. I did try to overclock my CPU within the bios but had to do a bios flash back which worked out well. The only thing i wished is that the board would have a on board RGB, but it doesn't, but it doesn't really bother me. The BIOS update was easy enough as well. Overhaul, i like the product

This is overall a nice looking and functioning motherboard. However, before purchasing I was not aware of the issues that many had been experiencing. After researching more about the board I discovered that many people had reported Ethernet problems. The issue being with the on board Intel i225-v NIC. Many people with this board and others with the same intel part had been experiencing ethernet dropouts and serious connection issues. It was suggested online, that intel had fixed the issue with B3 versions of the NIC, with versions B1 and B2 the ones which were causing all the complaints. There is a way to physically check the chip for the number code which is written on it and that code corresponds with either B1, B2 or B3 versions of the chip (involving physically ... MoreThis is overall a nice looking and functioning motherboard. There is a table out there, plus explanation how to find the chip on reddit if you spend a few minutes to go through all the threads. I did not find the physical chip, but rather used Windows Device Manager to see that there was a "(3)" listed with the i225-v chip. This I presume means that the board I bought here off PB Tech was a B3 version. Some people have reported that although having the B3 version of the chip on their motherboard, that the ethernet issues are still not fixed. I can say however that mine has been working without drop outs or any noticeable issues for the past 3 days since I received the motherboard. I am running Arch Linux on the 5.17.9 version of the Linux kernel. I can't really say whether or not the chip is working well with Windows since I hardly use it, however I was able to download Windows 11, on Windows 10, without any noticeable issues. If you do experience issues with the ethernet and you still want to keep the board, it can be as simple as to buy a 20 dollar ethernet usb adapter or PCIE adapter to bypass the ethernet problems. This board looks good in white, the plugs for the power and fans are well laid out and easy enough to figure out. My board came Ryzen 5000 compatible and worked out of the box with my AMD 5900x. There is also the feature to flash a BIOS update without a CPU installed straight from the USB stick if the board is not out of the box compatible. After updating to the most recent BIOS, I can confirm the board is working as expected and has more than enough settings to configure the BIOS to your preference. I give this board 4 stars, only because of the potential which there is for the ethernet to be an issue but otherwise I can say, I fully recommend this board.

Very high quality board for the price and it looks terrific in white. My only gripe is that the stock pictures of the board give the impression that it has RGB elements on it - it doesn't, the chipset heatsink and the rear I/O cover have lettering on them that creates a holographic/ rainbow effect when the light catches it. My own fault for not checking properly but the pictures are a little misleading.

Pros: Looks great in a all white build. This bored got everything you'll need. Cons: The price is the only thing that letting this motherboard down. For cheaper i could have gotten the ASUS ROG Strix B450-F Gaming II that if I wasn't bothered about the colour and For the samish price I could have gotten the ASUS ROG Strix B550-E Gaming WiFi. Would have been nicer if i could have the same bored with WiFi built-in it.
Pros: colourway.Cons: my memory wasn't fully supported even after nabling docp. but istill very close 3866 compared to 4000 isn't a lot but still goodprobably needs that asus rgb logo not a reflective one
Excellent board overall. ** Had a minor hiccup because I am using an old Ethernet CAT cable, my solution was to install a WiFi card so I could install Windows, Asus & AMD drivers. Long story short, it worked beautifully. Now it’s fully functional, no problems so far. **
Bought recently from Scan as part of a larger upgrade, you could argue the case for a 7 series board, the but 5800X3D has proven itself to be an utter powerhouse for gaming at a very reasonable cost. That is what I set out to do with my upgrade and I'm extremely happy with it. Why 1 star lost? The Motherboard, it's fine, it works, it's quick, BUT please, before you go ahead and install your OS, go into the BIOS and turn off the auto-installation of the ASUS Armory crate, make sure you have your wifi drivers in case windows doesn't sort it out. In my case I had to remove it, and it's not simple, I toyed with the idea of starting over so I didn't have this mess of software on my brand new, clean as a whistle machine. Context, I'm a software engineer and keen gamer, I ... MoreBought recently from Scan as part of a larger upgrade, you could argue the case for a 7 series board, the but 5800X3D has proven itself to be an utter powerhouse for gaming at a very reasonable cost. Context, I'm a software engineer and keen gamer, I like my computer to be slick, clean and refined, I'm not bothered about the very latest cutting edge hardware, I want reliability at a good price and for the large part you get that here, just one trap to avoid with that software.
Brought this to go with my white case and to replace the old B450. Not too bad so far. Seems stable and more importantly my USB ports work ! The top right ATX and EATX power plugs are a bit tight and if you are using an AIO , make sure you disable the error on the BIOS or it will stop on POST. Also it is Ryzen 5000 Series ready out of the box. However im using my old 3700X for the time being and I know I can drop a 5000 series when it becomes more widely available. Solid white / silver board for a small premium over the normal B550-F Black
Great board with awesome white aesthetic. The rear IO is pretty good but the on board IO is a little lacking. No internal USB C header. Only one USB 3 internal header. Could use some more fan headers. Really nice audio. Great VRM heat sinks. Still overall very happy.
Recently had my gigabyte board die on me so was forced to replace my board (really annoyed because I had saved the money to get a 5600 and now can't afford it because it got spent on the board)It supported my 1600x despite not being supposed to (oversight on my behalf for not knowing it shouldn't)Board looks great and works great. Super chuffed.
