Well described to enable suitability. Fantastic upgrade from my old card which, while it could handle HD it failed when trying to display 2 separate videos.New card solves problem and presents HD even better than I would had thought possible. I thought HD was HD end of but clearly not.(1080p stuff)4K also handled flawlessly.

Works great under Windows 10 for what I'm doing - mostly involving paint/draw programs and watching videos. I cannot comment on how it would perform for gaming, as I do very little gaming on Windows nowadays. AVOID this card if you use Linux. There are a lot of threads on a lot of different sites (including the Linux Mint forum) indicating that the low-end GT730 chip does not work correctly on Linux. One that I found indicated that the drivers fail with kernel 5.5.x and higher - which, unfortunately, is the only kernel series supported by Ubuntu 22.04 and Mint 19.03, and down-grading the kernel is beyond my expertise. While the card currently works with Fedora 36 - which is still using the 5.4.x series kernels - I think it is a matter of time before Fedora moves to ... Just my opinion, I have far more experience with Ubuntu and Mint and I am now learning Fedora as it's the only Linux I could get to work with this video card.

I use it on a HTPC with NextPVR. I thought there will be some lags when FF or RW, but not at all, and even better than the Gigabyte GT-1030... But comes slightly warmer, nothing critical, but 3C or 4 C higher under charge of video playing.

Pros: The low noise levels that come with passive cooling.Cons: Installed on a Linux OS.The Proprietary driver is very poor. In particular there seems to be problems with the selections screen, as it does not seem to be possible to go back to the setup screen once entries have been accepted. Mine will not allow 2 no monitors using the proprietary driver. My advice is to use the generic driver offered by Linux (X-Server) and the problems experienced with the proprietary driver simply do not occur. The manufacturer needs to do more work to service the Linux sector. My advice
This card is not designed for gamers, it's designed as a multiple monitor card for general work and display purposes. And as such it is excellent and very good value especially as it will drive 4 4K monitors. In everyday use the temperature keeps to under 40 degrees C. I can highly recommend this card to anyone wishing to drive multiple monitors for work and/or display purposes. Especially given the price!
This card was an economical choice to replace an older one in my 12 year old Dell PC.It works perfectly and at 2 gigs has really improved the video quality while streaming Netflix. The card took about 4 or 5 minutes to 'settle'. While I was searching for the software, as per the instructions, it found and downloaded it automatically! Perfect.
I recently purchased an ASUS P8Z68-V motherboard to replace an older mb. I was quickly able to the two-display working from the mb. I lost the display capability When I installed an outboard display graphics card. I could not find a BIOS configuration option to continue to use the mb displays so my only option was to get the GT730 card. I now have two displays working on the first outboard display card and the third on the GT730; my three displays are working again.
I am a builder of desktops but not a gamer. I needed a graphics card for my motherboard that would enable my build to work. I selected this graphics card for the features and the price. I am pleased with it and it is more than sufficient for my needs.
I was only after a reasonable graphics card to handle occasional Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator, along with other day to day use. An onboard graphics card may have been sufficient, but I wanted a bit more ummph and possible future proofing. It certainly is quiet, fanless and never seems hot. No issues and all the graphics have been fine. I use two 27" screens and picture quality is very good. Films and videos show good colour and no motion issues. Therefore I think this graphics card is fine for me, not sure how it goes with games as I don't use them. Fully satisfied.
The board performs well for the price. But the amount of noise it generates is unbelievable. Asus offer a fan-less version with the same spec. I wish I had known about it before hand, as I would have bought it. The model of the fan-less version is: Asus GT730-SL-2G-BRK-V2 It's cheaper than this model too!
