The TUF GAMING GeForce RTX 3070 has been stripped down and built back up to provide more robust power and cooling. An all-metal shroud houses three powerful axial-tech fans that utilize durable dual ball fan bearings. Fan rotation has been optimized for reduced turbulence, and a stop mode brings all three fans to a halt at low temps. Beneath, a thick heatsink keeps thermals under tight control. Additional features, including TUF components, Auto-Extreme Technology, and a backplate vent make the TUF a proper powerhouse. For builders looking for a new "old faithful", this card has your back.

Pros: A great GPU that produces strong performance in most tasks. Especially good for my particular use case of 1440p gaming.Cons: Price is higher than would be ideal but this is not really anybody’s fault. Just the situation we’re all in until supply chain issues improve.

Pros: Ease of installation, remove the old drivers, power down, remove the old card, fit the new one, power up, install the drivers and software, use the tweek software to optimise the card, play... Psu requiredCons: Psu requirements could be more easy to find.

Pros: Its a great card, very quiet even under load and over performs the OC stated frequency, measured 2100Mhz on a benchmark , not additional tweaking, that was straight out of the box. Cannot guarantee all will be the same. Its a 3 fan card so need to make sure you have enough room in case. I had to remove HDD cage which I wasnt using so it would fit.

If you need this kind of power and speed its built well, benchmarks show it does everything it's supposed to do and slightly beyond whats on paper and keeps itself cool no matter how hard I pushed it. Clock rates and fan speeds boosted nicely and predictably under load and the card performs excellent. If I was a serious gamer I would most likely be a lot happier but for me it was kind of disappointing considering the price of the unit. Since I run 4 monitors all the time it does all of the things I need it to extremely well at an idle and barely wakes up for my uses. Now I have to upgrade my main monitor because the DVI looked so much better on my old card than the hdmi does so there must is an issue there since none of my monitors are hd or uhv but that's typical ... MoreIf you need this kind of power and speed its built well, benchmarks show it does everything it's supposed to do and slightly beyond whats on paper and keeps itself cool no matter how hard I pushed it. Since I run 4 monitors all the time it does all of the things I need it to extremely well at an idle and barely wakes up for my uses. Now I have to upgrade my main monitor because the DVI looked so much better on my old card than the hdmi does so there must is an issue there since none of my monitors are hd or uhv but that's typical in a hdmi vs dvi setup as DVI is more accurate for workstation/creation type use. So I gained headroom and power but really nothing else. It is what it should be however the price does not justify the need for my uses but at least I am future proofed for a few years and I know this was new and not used so I have no doubts about its past history or abuse, so now I can rework the 1060 SSC, get some fresh pads and compound and upgrade my backup tower. Had I come up from an older card maybe I would be more impressed. Your mileage may vary, all in all its a great well built and designed card, I just didn't see 700$ worth of improvement. Seriously overpriced and definitely not worth all the hype..don't buy into the marketing psychology, do your homework first.
We all know how crazy the GPU market is currently. Got this card through MCs voucher system one morning with a buddy. The manager and associates who ran it were super organized and I was impressed. Anyways, to the card. It’s fantastic! Was easy to install and update. I like the GeForce experience software which adapts the card settings to the game you’re playing. No problems so far, really happy.
I was finally able to get my hand on a new graphics card after a year of searching! I wanted the 3070, and I was able to get the last one they had for the day, an Asus TUF series. At $749.99, this card offers some INCREDIBLE cooling and of course amazing performance, however, considering the MSRP for a 3070FE is $499, you're paying quite a bit extra. Shortages, demand, and tariffs obviously all play a big role in the pricing, but for cheaper, it's probably worth getting an EVGA 3070 FTW3. Customer support is apparently much better (though I have no personal experience), and EVGA has their "step up" program that allows you to upgrade your card if you want something on the top end but can't find stock for it (3080ti or 3080 12GB). Even paying the extra ~$30 for the Asus Strix series is better value, as the Strix excels at aspects like overclocking where the TUF lacks. All that being said, if it's the only card you can get your hands on, it's still worth it in my book. It wasn't my first option, but it's certainly no disappointment at all.
Pros: 1. I can crank any game at 1440p and be very happy with the results. 2. I no longer need a heater in my home. 3. Despite the previous statement the card itself stays at a crisp 63 degrees Celsius. Finally 4. Bragging rights. The biggest CON is that I have to get a new power supply, 750W just isn't enough. Oh, and the crashing until you underclock it but I'm sure that'll be fixed soon.
Grabbed this a bit more seamlessly than most. Saw it on the app in stock (said it was Out of Stock), walked in, and an employee got it in the back for me! Handles my favorite games on highest settings with anywhere between 200-450 FPS. Subtle RGB is nice. Fans keep it nice and cold. It doesn't make a peep; so ridiculously quiet.
The fans are fairly quiet even when running stress tests and my computer is on top of my desk about 2 feet from my ears. The card stays relatively cool too, below 75 degrees. The only reason I wouldn't give it 5 stars is that the price-to-performance isn't amazing. I bought it because it was finally within $50 of MSRP and I've been waiting 2 years for that.
I did a lot of research, and this the best brand, best GPU for 1440p monitor, it is powerful, it is power efficient, it is "stone cold" always maintain around 50 to 60 C degree temperature during gaming. The price is also great from ASUS. Highly recommend. Plus, Micro-center is great store to shop GPU with its unbeatable return policy.
