Runs everything you can throw at it, with settings maxed out. Build quality is superb and it’s a burly card, so make sure your chassis is big enough to house it. Also make sure you have a PSU that can deliver power to the x3 8pin power connectors on the card.Fan headers are a nice touch and are able to sync connected fan speed with those on the GPU. This is a nice touch given that the GPU is likely to be the biggest dumper of heat into your chassis.Value for money is always a difficult one with cards like this. Given the supply shortages and high cost it all comes down to how much willing you are to pay for performance.

This card is definitely for gamers who want to play 4k games at comfortable frames. It is also very good at high fps in 1440p (but the 3080 would potentially be equal). I hit 180 fps regularly on games like warzone or r6 maxed out 100% resolution. But most importantly, I use blender (3d modeling and rendering software) daily and this has been the biggest upgrade I've ever made. Scenes that would have taken 8 days to complete are now below 8 hours.I would reccomend this to anyone who has the money and does more than gaming. It is also a masterpiece and really dominates within a case. I have a 500D for example.Feel free to ask questions

Sprinkle in some ray tracing that again beats anything else currently on offer and then add DLSS and you have the best gpu money can buy at this time. Beware of eBay Lemons: My Saga with a 'Franken-GPU' That Crashes More Than It Computes
13 November 2023

Purchased a GPU from an unreliable seller on eBay that turned out to be defective. Despite multiple attempts to repair it, including disassembling the card and replacing the thermal pads with high-quality Gelid pads, as well as applying Noctua NT-H2 thermal paste, the GPU continues to malfunction. It randomly loses video output and causes the computer to crash. This issue persisted both before and after my attempts to fix it, indicating that the card has more profound issues and was sold as defective.

Pros: Blazingly fast card. Have tested 8K games at 60 FPS.Also use this card for machine learning. Having the horsepower and 24GB GPU ram is invaluable for deep learning. Just an amazing card.Cons: Price. Nvidia supply of cards was anemic resulting in exorbitant pricing. Clearly overpaid for something that will be cheaper in a few months. Unless you have a need for a card right this moment wait a few months until card supplies normalise

Ok so after passing through the battlefield of bots, lost sleep, shed tears and possibly even blood from my blisters by furiously clicking F5 and clicking add to cart, I have reached super saiyan mode. All joking aside, this card is huge! Design wise its absolutely gorgeous. Did I need a 3090 not at all. But it sure does shred any games such as Horizon Zero Dawn (75FPS 4K Ultra), SnowRunner (90FPS 4K Ultra), Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 (54FPS 4K Ultra), Call of Duty Cold War (132FPS 4K Ultra) Gameplay isnt the only benchmark because some people may use this for 3D modeling softwares, Octane Blender, raytracing and other programs that can fully utilize the increase in cuda and ray tracing cores. Good FPS while remaining cool - Bit expensive though

Paired with a 4k 144hz 1000 nits HDR monitor (The ASUS PG43UQ) it has bought my gaming to a new level. The card needs a lot of power which is a downside (it reaches 400W of draw most of the time), if you're buying this, you can afford a 1000W PSU. Another plus is that I've never seen this card go above 70c while under full load (I have a well ventilated Corsair 900D case, which helps). The biggest downside is the price, but if you have the money it's worth it. Gaming just keeps getting better and this is another stepping stone on the way to more immersive gaming.

RTX Awesomeness

I’ve never experienced a good graphics my entire life until I purchased this beefy graphics card. It’s been an awesome experience to be honest especially with the “RTX ON”. You would literally gonna be motivated/addicted to play long hours because of this. Lol

4K gaming in style is finally here, temps below 70c, clock hitting 1965mhz as standard, a little overclock if wanted pushes clock speeds over 2000mhz, sensible temps still in the mid 70's. Very nice quality card all round and bags of power for 4k gaming! I'm connected to the 144hz GSYNC ROG Swift 43" 4k monitor, and getting excellent FPS, I'm maxed out in Fortnite and such games, and hitting 90-144 FPS in Anno 1800, Cyberpunk, and most other latest titles I have. Get one if you can!

Sure, I got scalped. Paid way more than MSRP. But it's that, or what? Waiting for a few pings on your cell phone once a month, giving you T-minus six seconds to respond to an 'in stock' alert just to get thwarted? Then you pull up an article reading how there's literally Fast and Furious level heists against semi-trucks transporting RTX 3090's? Wait, that's not enough? How about Nvidia preparing to launch their 4000-series cards and you're still twiddling your thumbs with a 2080? Wait, you want more? How do you propose to battle the literal retail bot programs that run while you're sleeping or taking a dump to purchase these cards from all known vendors as soon as a stock notification pops up on your phone with an automated delivery system that probably goes ... MoreSure, I got scalped. How do you propose to battle the literal retail bot programs that run while you're sleeping or taking a dump to purchase these cards from all known vendors as soon as a stock notification pops up on your phone with an automated delivery system that probably goes straight to a bitcoin warehouse?Despite whatever social status it gives me, I paid extra and got what I really wanted. It came in pristine condition, factory sealed. Holy hell, right out of the box, it's a heavy son of a gun. Once installed, it literally weighs on your PCI slot to your motherboard enough where if left unattended, it will bend the PCI connector downwards. Luckily, they sell $10.00 mounts.Performance? Unless I'm playing a PC game that's from a developer who doesn't know how to optimize their games, I'm locked in at 144 FPS. Star Wars: Battlefront II was the first game I wanted to test it on. DX12, Ultra'd out of my mind graphics, and with a 130% in-game resolution, it doesn't drop a frame from 144, even in intensive battles. Tried GTA V, roughly 100 FPS on maxed out settings while driving, 144 FPS indoors or when stopped. Red Dead Redemption 2 is roughly 110 - 120 FPS on high graphics. Assassin's Creed: Valhalla around 110 FPS maxed out. Disclaimer that you need more than a sweet GPU to get that type of performance (32GB DDR5 RAM, 5.2 GHZ CPU, light overclock, etc), but it's where most of it comes from.
