Very thin light zenbook, looks good. I deducted one star because I am not happy with the oled display. While it produces great colors and bright, high contrast visuals, the picture quality is the worst in low light, low contrast images or videos. Whenever you watch a video or movie, there will be scenes that are mostly washed out, color noises all over it, absolutely bad experience. In lcd displays, those scenes seem dark and natural. But in oled, there are color noises in the dark regions. The image also looses clarity in such scenes. So in breif, oled display is great in daylight or bright images showing great color, contrast and brightness, but is terrible in low light low contrast movie scenes. I dont see any explanation for this issue anywhere. If anyone knows ... MoreVery thin light zenbook, looks good. I deducted one star because I am not happy with the oled display. I purchased this laptop just short of a month ago and have been very happy with it. Honestly I cannot see anything I would change if purchasing again. I'm still blown away by the picture quality with the OLED screen after replacing my previous basic ASUS model. The sound quality, speed, battery life, backlit keyboard, backlit number pad, ease of setup and use all equate to a very enjoyable experience. I had reservations about going from a 15.6" screen to this 13.3" screen but I find that this is so much better with the overall size and weight. As I said before I cannot imagine a better computer to meet my present needs.

Even at the low-end of this high-end line, this is an excellent computer. The model that I have has an 11th gen I7, the OLED screen, 8GB RAM and 512 GB SSD, the IR camera (for face-based login) and the touchpad that turns into a number-entry keyboard.I've had Zenbooks for several years now - this is the third one in a row that I have purchased - and I have been very happy with each. Each has been solidly-built while remaining remarkably light and thin. This latest model continues in that tradition. I am hard on my computers - I travel extensively and use my laptop constantly, for almost every possible function - Word file editing; PowerPoint slide creation; video and music streaming; programming; personal finance, etc. - and this computer is more than capable of handling all of that. While you might not want to use this computer for operations that demand very large amounts of RAM or the highest possible video performance (video creation and big-data number-crunching come to mind), this is a more-than-adequate high-end laptop for the road warrior who needs their computer by their side wherever they go.By the way, if you're in an area where the computer comes with the one-year "clumsy-stupid" protection (they call it "Accidental Damage Protection"), that is a great plus, especially if you're like me, and frequently find yourself eating, drinking coffee, whatever, while using your computer! And also - wow - the OLED screen is wonderful, both for the fact that it reduces unnecessary blue light exposure, and that the black level, when watching a movie in a darkened room, is unmatched by any other laptop display technology.
So far its been working really well. Quick and easy to navigate. The screen is visually stunning. The ONLY complaint i have is a very minor one - the trackpad is a bit long. Given that the letters of the keyboard start from the left edge and end at the end of the trackpad, sometimes my hand will rest on the trackpad and I will accidentally scroll or something. However, this can be avvoided by disabling the trackpad while typing. That one minor issue aside, would definitely recommend.
Bought this computer a few months ago and overall really like it. It's fast, compact and light. What I do not like are the numbers on the mouse/track pad. It is too easy to turn them on when any part of your hand brushes against the center pad, then you end up with numbers in the middle of words. As much as I like the computer I find this irritating enough I would not recommend it to anyone. I suppose if you are doing a lot with math or accounting it might be a useful feature. I like ASUS and all the other features just not this feature.
I need to take minutes in an office setting siting on a chair with no desk. The ASUS Zenbook 13 OLED fit my needs perfectly. The OLED screen is bright and clear in office meeting lighting. The small form factor fits perfectly on my lap. The weight is minimal and not a fatigue issue. There is no problem with fan noise and heating. I have also used my Kroser carry all as a lapdesk too and that negates any heat concerns. Also got the 16GB memory and 512 GB SSD so should not have any concerns about future use. I plan on a useful service experience for at least 5-6 years with this laptop. Usually don't write many reviews but ASUS also offers a possible 90 extended warranty for reviews. I am a data analytics major, and bought this laptop because I am starting my master's program. I needed a laptop that is powerful enough for professional apps, coding and database management, but at the same time is portable so I can easily carry it around (I am a really small girl and 15.6" laptops are too big and heavy for me). So far so good! It seems to work great and I had no problems (at least yet). It is incredible how light this laptop is! Exactly what I was looking for. Also, the display is amazing, my eyes are definitely less tired after hours of working!I am taking one star off because I don't really like the design, it's so basic. I really wanted to buy it in lilac mist color as it looks more unusual, but couldn't find it anywhere in stock, especially ... I was looking for a small-format notebook with a decent set of ports and a good display. Well, this ASUS Zenbook 14 more than fulfills that need, and for less money than I expected to pay. Too many smaller laptops are very "basic" in their approach, but ASUS has not done that with this machine. And I am very impressed with the "now you see it--now you don't!" invisible keypad imbedded in the touchpadMy only wish is that it supported an active stylus. The touchscreen is nice, but the addition of active stylus acceptance would make it perfect! We now have three ASUS laptops in the house, and all are outstanding!
I needed a smaller laptop solution for my field work in IT and boy was I surprised with the performance and OLED display. Crisp detail and colors you’d expect from this tech. The Intel i7, 512g NEMa SSD, 16G of DDR4 RAM, Wi-Fi 6 and Windows 11 brings all the capabilities you will ever need on the road. The chassis appears to be well built and its compact and light weight design makes storing and traveling a breeze. I was a little hesitant in spending $1000 for this little laptop, but it’s a beast packed tightly and economically. It’s even has a built in number pad in the mouse pad for further duties. Great Job ASUS!
