I bought this about a month ago online, payment was easy, and it was posted out about 2days later and I received it the next day via Royal Mail.Actual laptop is great. Good battery, screen is perfect, no dings or dents.Disappointingly for a B class 2 stockers had been put on the lid by CEX and although they had tried (as I did) to remove they had left 2 x 1”x2” sticker residue behind.Luckily I read online to put mayonnaise on the residue and leave for 30mins and it would remove, it worked and the lid looks brand new.So NOW I am very happy with the laptop.

I purchased this ASUS S UX393EA to replace a Sony laptop purchased in 2010. I read almost every review I could find about this machine and was impressed that almost every reviewer spoke to the machine's quality, fit and finish. Out of the box I agree 100%. The ordering process from Costco was easy, the product was shipped to UPS the day after I ordered it, and was delivered to my Costco warehouse 5 days from the day I ordered it. Good spec and easy to use, well built, but a major flaw in my view is the "type c" power connector which is not suitable for Laptop use. This is going to fail at some point as using the laptop with the power cord in place places a strain on the connection. This will lead to distortion and subsequent "failure to connect" or failure to remain connected. Have owned for 6 weeks and have already had some issues with charging. The "343" model zenbook has a female jack so ASUS obviously know how to make a robust connection so there has to be a suspicion that this is a cost based design decision, which given this isn't a cheap product isn't justifiable. Maybe the warranty claims will prove the engineers right and the accountants wrong, although there is of course the ... Got a week ago, I already own and still have 2 previous ASUS models - love them. This is fast, great storage and features and more screen area for me than a 14" model. It took a little getting used to the 3:2 screen ratio but after dialing in my apps and scaling to the 3K screen it is working out well. The screen color and brightness rivals OLED displays. The shell is all metal, tough and durable, feels solid. The keyboard feel is solid and the keyboard backlight is subtle but adequate, I like the large bright keys and no wasted space to the sides. Yes, the case is a fingerprint magnet but easy to wipe with a micro-cloth. Beautiful looking unit with colorful accents - looks expensive, loaded with the latest features - i'm thrilled to have this super light weight ... I've owned an ASUS Zenbook UX303UA since 2017 - so I know about ASUS quality. It's still going strong even though at one point I even dropped it straight onto the floor. I decided to buy another machine because my 10 year desktop needed to be replaced. It took me a while to figure out which ASUS machine to buy, but being an avid photographer and photoshop user decided to purchase the UX393. I'm so happy with this machine - quality through and through! Even though the screen has more real estate, the machine itself is light and nimble. Solid keyboard and I'm grateful that the battery life so far seems to be as advertised. I'll be purchasing another machine for my wife when she retires and you can be sure there will be another ASUS machine in the house. If I had a ... I absolutely love this laptop. I found this perfect laptop for my sister, and then I wanted one for myself! This Zenbook S Ultra is a dream to use. The resolution is amazing, absolutely gorgeous screen. This laptop is so fast it’s ridiculous, and it’s also light to carry around. The backlit keyboard has 3 brightness options. This laptop absolutely beats the competition in features, looks, and price. I’ve only had it for one week, and hope it continues to be a delight to use. This is my first Asus laptop, and by far, it’s my favourite of all that I’ve tried in the past.
Good Points: Generous comfortable backlit keyboard with great key movement. Ample screen size. Good sound. Quick charging. Lightweight. A very handsome and efficient package.Improvement Points: Battery life not as good as advertised. And if you set this laptop on a smooth polished or soft surface (such as leather-top desk), that surface may be scratched or scarred when you open the cover (or move it across the surface), by the too-sharp rear edges of the cover that slide underneath the base.

The sdisplay is incredibly sharp and matte, the touch screen is great and i love the number pad on the keypad - much better than asus' other gimicky screenpad which is almost unusable. I like the ports and that there is a hdmi port especially. its really fast, can handle many tasks easily thanks to the i7 processor and i love the face recognition unlock! would definitely recommendImprovement Points: The battery. Love the laptop, as a computer science student I'm greatful for being able to work on the go rather than being restricted to my desktop without sacrificing any performance.It does a great job with visual studio c++ & android studio, wouldn't recommend it for unity 3D or unreal projects as it doesn't have a dedicated gpu, should be able to do the job for 2D game projects though.Battery lasts about 4-6 hours which is plenty for me working in visual studio.Upgraded to windows 11 without a problem when I got it, no issues so far.Slim & light making it perfect to carry around, honestly it's barely noticable when carrying it around.Discord calls with cameras/sharing screens kills the battery in under 2 1/2 hours it's somewhat cpu intensive so I'd suggest not ...
