We have only had the lone up for a week or so and it is great. It is actually bigger than expected and can carry a huge amount of washing. Thanks, however to our landscaper who had concreted the bottom 300mm+ into the ground, but still allowed for a 1.0m clearance above the deck. We recommend anyone buying such a large clothesline do this so that the the mounts can handle heavy towels etc at the end of the line. Perfect as the reach to the line is perfect for someone with a height of 160-180cm. A great, semi compact line for families.

Has been very good so far. We installed the austral 39 when we realised the hills hoist was taking up a lot of space in our small back yard. The kids didn’t have enough room to jump properly on the trampoline so we installed this clothesline in a 1m wide gap between the shed and the kids cubby. It was easy enough to install and seems fairly robust. The reason I was drawn to it initially was the competitive price. I was just a bonus that it was also from an Australian family run business.The communication from them was excellent and they were very happy to answer questions I had about the product.

The best clothesline we've purchased ever! Love the fact that I never run out of line space with the one we purchased. I can hang my king size sheet fully along one line and still have space to hang two pillowcases! I've never been able to do that before with our other clotheslines we've used. Love the colour choices you get to choose, and it got delivered quicker than was expected and very well packaged. Great clothes line with a great discount at EOFYS. Sturdy clothesline. Great size. Great colorbond colour range. Great communication from clothesline store and allocation of installation day. However the installer was unable to give me a time frame until the day of installation (which is messy when trying to organise kid drop offs etc) and then showed up with the wrong clothesline. Was unable to give me a time for the next day to rectify until 5-10 mins before arrival. Which was after 4pm. Waited all day for a time. I recommend the product and the company. Just not the installer.
Bought this for a tight space. Was able to reduce size (width) of this and the inground base to suit my needs. (Used Bastion 20kg Post Mix Concrete, so easy! The hardest part was digging the holes). I love this clothesline. It fits heaps of clothes, although the cord is very close together so clothes would dry more efficiently if every second line is used (if you don't have too much laundry). It comes with grey clothesline cord so I bought a Hills brand Monument black clothesline cord. Camouflages perfectly with my black fence.
So we brought an Austral Compact 39 Clothesline only to discover how we had planned to install it was likely going to cause offense to our neighbors (we have a fairly low fence and they are higher up the hill). We contacted Lifestyle clotheslines and received excellent support to swap the product for a different Austral wall mounted clothesline which could fit in another location. It was such a relief to know we could change our mind. Great support.
The clothes line is strong and sturdy and I’m sure it will last a long time , which is great seeing that life is getting Harding and the cost of living is increasing, so it’s good to purchase a product that will at least be a good investment and last a long time . The clothes line looks great and stream line with a nice colour and with the cord being nice and tight and strong the ability of holding heavy loads is much appreciated. Love it!! It only took 10yrs of using a rope as a makeshift clothesline before we were able to finally get a proper clothesline. Always put it off deciding we could get it later as other more important things needed attention. Carport blew down in recent storms so nowhere to hang my rope. First job: call Insurance company. Second job: buy a clothesline. The process was quick and easy to sort out with regards to ordering online and arranging instalment. Wayne (installer) did a fabulous job, on time, polite & friendly.

Whilst this gave us a suitable height to fix the clothesline, it did mean that we had a requirement for a 2.4m length clothesline to fit the main fence post positions. After various searches online and at the "big green shed" we found our solution at Lifestyle. Surprisingly 2.4m is not that common in a standard configuration. To ensure our selected Dune colour was in stock, I called the help line and received pleasant and helpful advice. I was advised to allow 1 -3 weeks delivery. Hey presto, the order was delivered in three days (we live on the Sunshine Coast).
