I have been looking for a way of removing smears from the inside of my car windscreen for a long time trying various household cleaners. However, this is the only one that really works that I have at long last found. The others appear to work until the sun shines on them making driving into the sun difficult. However, this one really does work. Simply wipe on, leave to dry, then wipe off with a dry cloth (microfibre cloth provided). Amazing! It works just as well on the insides of my house windows too.

I find the product far superior to all other window cleaning products.Firstly clean with a water/ vinegar 50/50 ratio, then dry with a natural fibre cloth. The secret is not to use to much of Autoglym, apply sparingly, let it dry ( Smokey haze ), then buff to a fabulous shine.

This is an excellent product to remove all that road grime from your car glass, that you do not even know is there. Requires a bit of work, but after using am amazed about how clean my glass actually is. I use this about once per 2 months to keep my car glass clean. The proof is driving into the sun, after using this product there is no glare.

I'd like to start off by saying I tried it all! I'm not biased to any brand, In fact I use different brands for different purposes..I've used invisible glass (absolutely awesome) and I've used rain-x ( should stick with water beading instead of cleaning agents). This cream is great and alittle goes a long way. My only concern is if paired with autoglym applicator pad, you will get white specks of dust that's come from the cleaner, these will mark your black trim and black paint. So you've been warned. I thought this product created more work before I changed to an old fashioned microfibre,For best results, apply to microfibre, and buff off with clean cloth... Great for heavily soiled windows or if going to a show. Don't get me wrong, for those who take care of their car weekly, this product may be to time consuming. Invisible glass will do the trick... Don't forget that window rags are far more efficient and streak free then MF towels... But you already knew that.Give this product a try and never turn to anything else.
I never realized how dirty my windscreen was, until confronted with the late afternoon sun in my etes on my weekly journey on country roads. Researched the internet and found this product. Together with a clay bar and new wipers. My complete blank out driving into the sun, has now become visible. I clean my windscreen with with good quality windscreen materials, but this product makes the world of difference, and the amount of gime it removes is quite extraordinary - It is surprising to reveal the buildup of grime that occurs, even cleaning with brandname windscreen cleaners!!
This really helped me to remove 20 years of hard water stains on my windscreen, and make it look like new again. Only issue is you need to really work the polish in. If you have one, use a DA polisher and go crazy on your glass with this. I made sure to clean the windscreen thoroughly beforehand to make sure I wasn't polishing dirt into the glass.I have only done a small patch on the driver's side where my visibility was downright dangerous at night, because headlight glare and a damp windscreen would scatter the light too much. It made a huge difference, but will be picking up a DA before doing the rest. I recommend a few applications of this stuff, and a nice glass sealant to finish it off and to help prevent water stains from forming again.
Autoglym glass polish is an extremely effective product for removing squeaking, streaking or outright annoying windshield wiper noise. It also effective in removing haze and making the windscreen crystal clear. Just apply it generously and evenly across sections of the windscreen at a time (makes it easier to apply properly), allow ~5 mins to dry and wipe it off with a clean microfibre and a considerable amount elbow grease or for better results, a polishing machine. Do the same on interior windshield for interior hazing. If done properly results will shock you. For my purposes, I took a screenshot of a video just before the windshield completed a down stroke. On the left is before and the right is after applying Autoglym. Look closely at the difference in streaking.
Tried this product a couple of times just using an applicator pad by hand and made no difference to the water spots at all. I gave up until I stumbled across the comments section and read David's review about how good it was using a DA Polisher.Used it with my DA polisher and it worked a treat. I just placed a thin bead across the windscreen, turned the applicator down to one to spread it across half the front windscreen and once spread / thinned out I turned up the machine to full and done about 4 passes with a moderate amount of pressure. Wipe it off and all the water spots were gone.Very good product when used with a DA Machine / applicator.
The glass looked very shiny after cleaning and repelled water well. I was hoping it would clear some marks better, but I guess there is only so much you can do with an old windscreen. It is not the easiest to apply and takes a fair bit of rubbing to remove, but this appears to be the way it lifts stubborn residues on the glass.
This has always been my go to product for perfectly polished glass. If you know when and how to use it, this product is unrivaled in my opinion. Best used on "clean" glass rather than to clean glass.... it's a polish not a cleaner. I use it after AG Fast glass to polish the surface before using RainX or similar. If somebody told you that water doesn't quench a thirst you'd laugh at them... same here when people say this doesn't work. They are simply using wrongly or for the wrong application.
