Avatar The Game Xbox 360 James Cameron

I only rented the game because I heard about the easy achievements, but I ended up liking it. I'm an adult female and if your wondering what kind of games I like to play just look me (laurapsyched) up on xbox and see which games I have completed or at least came close to completing. Yes, the mouths don't move when they are talking which gets kinda annoying. It's not the hardest game I ever played either, I completed the whole game in a day. But I really enjoyed it and I think it would be a really good game for the targeted age and gender group as well as other gamers who don't think games have to be like Halo or that type.

I'm thoroughly impressed by Retro vGames in Allentown. Their collection of retro games is mind-blowing. It's evident that the staff cares deeply about gaming history and ensuring that these classics find new homes. The store's atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and I always feel like I'm stepping into a time machine when I visit. This is the ultimate destination for vintage gaming enthusiasts.

Retro vGames is a hidden treasure trove for gamers. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with a nostalgic atmosphere and an impressive selection of games. The staff's passion for gaming shines through in their excellent customer service. Prices are reasonable, and I've found some rare gems here that I thought I'd never see again. This store deserves all the praise for keeping the spirit of retro gaming alive.

My 6 year old son is a fan of the Avatar TV series. We play father and son video games on weekends together. I have been very selective about what games to expose him to. This video game is true to the Avatar TV show. The Xbox 360 version is absolutely beautiful on a large HD monitor. The character voices, script and soundtrack are excellent. The game story line is entertaining for a 6-10 year old gamer. My wife and I enjoyed playing the game with our son in multiplayer mode. The game plays smoothly and is fun.

I really loved this game- the design is amazing, so detailed and the scenes are beautiful. You can explore the landscapes a bit and find secrets and smash things to power up. At the end, you can go back and battle the bosses again or there is a combat mode where you can choose any character vs any character. I really like the attack moves of the characters and you get a chance to be almost everyone- aang, katara, sokka, toph, momo, appa, zuko, and ozai. There are missions you have to go on where they will give you a choice between either character and you can switch between them anytime and you'll have to to accomplish certain missions. As you go, you'll learn combo attacks and each character has an awesome special attack. Cool niche game

The choice of being an avatar or a sky person was cool and I enjoyed being able to level up my character and collect all the outfits and weapons and abilities. However, the game could be quite repetitive at times and would glitch a lot or have choppy gameplay. Despite this, it was a fun little game to find and play for any avatar lover and the actual atmosphere of it was great.

I have not been able to play it much yet. I did try it out though and it seemed to have nice graphics for the time period and it should be fun to play. The game seemed to be rambling and lost with no point to the game play. Time will tell.

Any developer planning to place its game in a jungle-like setting now has a new benchmark to aspire to. The weapons and gear, especially those of the Na’vi, are a blast to unleash on your enemies, and vehicles and creatures make travel speedy and fun. There’s also a lot of game here; in addition to a beefy solo campaign, brimming with non-critical content, there’s a multiplayer mode, although the servers weren’t up in time for our review. Ubisoft Montreal has crafted one of the better licensed efforts we’ve seen in a while, but a weak story, poor pacing and a few minor gameplay flaws keep Avatar from competing with the likes of far superior, recent third-person efforts such as Assassin’s Creed II and Batman: Arkham Asylum.
