Aveda - Botanical Repair Strengthening Leave-In Treatment - 25ml

I’m usually pretty theory about leaving product because my hair tend to get greasy.   as I’ve gotten older I’ve noticed my hair has gotten much dryer and it’s needed something extra. I saw an ad for this product and decided to pick one up because I usually love the smell of most Aveda products. This is exactly what my hair needs. It doesn’t leave it weighted down and it’s become regular in my routine.  I put it on freshly washed hair and then comb it out and then wrap it in a towel.  It just seems to be in so much better condition so much easier to come and I don’t get rats nest anymore.  I highly recommend if you’re in the need for a little extra moisture on your locks.  Also the scent as wonderful  Aveda botanical scent. The only thing I notice  That I would consider negative is that I do have to wash my hair more frequently when I use it. That could be just because I feel like I get oily a little faster when using more conditioning or hydration products.

I really like this product, as it makes my hair feel a lot healthier than it is. I don’t use heat on my hair so I’m not sure how it holds up if you are going to use heat, but it makes my ends feel not as rough. it smells kinda floral? but not overpowering. I keep this in my bag and while there’s not a cap it has never leaked in my bag as you can turn the nozzle to open or close. I typically use about a garbanzo bean sized amount for my hair (about 3pumps) and it doesn’t specify whether to use it on dry or wet hair but I typically use it on dry hair. Im not sure how much it cost because I believe I got it as a gift. I’m not sure if I would buy it again, as with most hair care items I like to switch it up every so often but I do like the product.

Horribly limp frizzy hair

I had high hopes for this product, and thankfully got the sample pack of products first. I have beautiful, thick, wavy hair that got extremely damaged after several illnesses and shingles on the right side of my head and face in March. I had a lot of hair loss and damage. I researched a lot of products and this line only made it worse, with the exception of the fabulous leave in overnight serum. That product is outstanding! This product made my hair limp, frizzy and gave me more dry scalp and hair loss than with my previous products, Will continue to use the overnight serum - it works extremely well. As for the rest of this line, I won't continue. I went back to my previous products and they work better with no dry scalp, dandruff or hair loss. I really like this product!

I was given Aveda Botanical Repair Strengthening Leave-In Treatment by my daughter in law as a present. As my hair after chemotherapy ten years ago is very fragile and lifeless I was looking for something which could improve its condition. I tried many products, but wasn't happy with their results. The Aveda Botanical Repair Strengthening Leave-In Treatment is the first one that satisfies me. My hair once again looks alive and and has a nice texture.Now I am regularly buying this product myself.Highly recommend.

I would not buy again

The product smells amazing and it somewhat does the job. I was very excited about getting it, because it's hard to find a product for my hair. I have wavy, thick hair. This helps with styling but if does not do what it promises. It is very expensive and it only lasted a couple of weeks. I only wash my hair every 3 days, but the product wears of the same day in the afternoon. It also leaves the hair sticky/crunchy. Great product, works really well on my hair. I have curly/wavy hair that's fine and fairly thin, and has been chemically treated. It often gets very dry and frizzy at the ends. This product helps prevent that, and helps smooth it out if it has already happened. Does not make my hair static or greasy. It's a bit on the heavier side, but my hair needs all the moisture it can get, so for me it works. I alter between this and the Nutriplenish leave-in conditioner, another favourite of mine. As with all Aveda products, the scent is all about personal preference, and I love the scent. I find it classy and relaxing, not overpowering, and does not linger for too long. Nice product

I have very long and fragile hair, that tends to have split and dry ends. I have tried lots of product, with no results. This product came in a nice package, smelled great, can't pinpoint the scent but seems very familiar. On applying it didn't have a sticky texture, I needed small amount of product to cover my hair. I did leave it more than stated, I left it in for approx 15 minutes and generously rinsed out. Hair felt really nice, it was detangling brilliantly and felt smooth. After drying my hair, my dry ends look more healthy, the hair is shiny and doesn't feel heavy. I tend to have oily hair after using some conditioners but this one didn't leave my hair oily. So pleased I discovered this.

I first used this product in December when it was inside the John Lewis Advent calender. On my first usage, I was amazed how smooth and shiny my hair felt and looked. It is far superior to some of the products which I currently use. Although my professional products are hairdressers bought, this Aveda repair product is now the one I will use. I have bought the full size tube and will continue to have beautiful condition hair. Thank you John Kewis for introducing me to this product.

Stronger, smoother hair.

I have been highlighting own hair and leaving the formula on longer than instructed which has inevitably left my hair feeling, and looking strawlike. Botanical repair strenghtening leave-in treatment is my thatch's saviour. Like Rumplestiltskin, this treatment Aveda has produced, turns straw into gold. My golden locks are transformed into silken strands of molten beauty. On top of this, it has an addictive fragrance which cannot be found in more affordable brands. You don't have to use much, or saturate your hair with it for it to have the desired effect. A penny-sized blob on the palm gently tweaked through the dry patches then brushed through with a 'Teezer' is enough to rescue parched strands. This product completely transformed my hair

My hair has been uncontrollably dry and frizzy since the start of the pandemic. So dry I could not get a comb or brush through my locks. I was so fed-up with my hair that I would just tie it up. A friend gave me a sample of Botanical Repair shampoo, conditioner and strengthening leave-in treatment. I cried after my first use - my hair was smooth, shiny and I could put a comb through it for the first time in years. I looked like a completely different person. My Husband immediately commented on how healthy my hair looks. I immediately ordered a full size shampoo, conditioner and strengthening treatment and I have been so satisfied with the status of my hair. I highly recommend it!
