Aveda Sap Moss Weightless Hydration Shampoo 200 ml

I’ve tried almost every Aveda shampoo and conditioner. Seriously it’s a problem 😂 So with this one in particular I found my hair definitely felt clean after using, bordering on feeling stripped though. I don’t love the smell. And I did feel like I had a bit less length I could go in between showers due to feeling a bit greasy. Now I can’t say for sure it was this line of shampoo and conditioner but I think it may have contributed to that feeling. It’s also quite expensive for how long product you actually get.

My hair is fine ,DRY, with little wave (more like bends lol) accompanied with frizz. I went from a level 2 to a level 5 (serial hair color junkie) about 6 months ago. And I have had it highlighted last week. I tried the Olaplex , Botanical Repair, and Redken Bonding Line with no success. I used the Sap Moss and WOW. Moisture, shine, bounce, frizz free, strength, and my highlights popped out more brighter. I know this is not a bonding shampoo but this kicks those to the curb! When I first applied the shampoo I instantly felt it absorbed into my hair and the structure of my wet hair improved 100% and I was able to air dry with no issues and my hair looked great. I also love the smell it is unique. This is a keeper. Please do not discontinue.

Did the formula change? This DESTROYED my hair

I LOVE Aveda products. I've been using them for 15 years. I even loved this shampoo. I ordered the smaller size and loved everything about it - the texture, the smell, and how it worked on my hair. So, thinking I would be smart, I ordered the bigger size. Twice. I am left wondering if the formula changed because color was pretty much all those two shampoos had in common - my second order didn't have the distinctive smell (that I loved), but I am stubborn and already spent the money so I used the shampoo. My hair deteriorated with every use, but I thought I must be imagining things. I finally threw it out, but the damage is already done - my hair which used to be naturally curly and soft is now flat and brittle and will need to be cut out. Doesn't weigh down curls

Been using Sapmoss for several years. Good cleansing without weighing down the curls or causing frizz. Nice cleanse on the scalp.Disappointed that the bottles are no longer available. 6.7 ml tubes do not last very long and cause alot of unnecessary plastic waste. Seems to be the way Aveda is going now :( (same with Co-wash). Love the product but the size and price are difficult to maintain on a budget!

Ecstatic to have this amazing product back again!

A childhood memory came to mind of an amazing shampoo & conditioner my Mother used to use but I couldn't remember what it was. After a long search I found out it was the original Aveda Sap Moss! To my surprise it recently came back on the market after having been discontinued for years, so I placed an order & I do not regret it. The new Sap Moss products are still amazing! The shampoo feels luxurious & works wonders on my hair. It cleans & lathers very well without stripping. Leaving my hair extremely soft, hydrated & voluminous. Fantastic product, perfect for fine curly hair

I have tried quite a few of aveda shampoo/conditioners. I took the online test they have to suggest the best shampoo for your hair. I have fine curly hair that needs hydration, so this shampoo/conditioner is absolutely fantastic. I absolutely love the smell, it reminds me of the earth in a forest. It might not be the smell that everyone likes but I love those types of smells. Also, the smell doesn't linger on your hair after it dries so if you don't like the smell it's not a big deal. It honestly delivers exactly what the description says. It's weightless hydration for the hair. I have a lot of trouble with shampoos for curly hair that weigh it down because of too much oil. Gray/Silver Hair Beware!

I'm a long time Aveda customer. I have natural silver/pepper curly hair and have been dye free for 3 years. I asked customer service AND my stylist if Sap Moss would discolor my hair. They all said NO! They are WRONG. After 4 shampoos, my hair was stained making the silver dingy and discolored....somewhat darker and blending into my pepper hair. I had to turn to a clay treatment to rectify the problem. Thankfully the damage doesn't seem permanent. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone with gray, white or silver hair.

Like feeding your hair caviar

I rotate a lot between shampoos and conditioners and came back to this one recently. I remembered just how much I love this shampoo. Not only does it smell amazing (like nature) but it leave my hair feeling nourished, shiny, and soft. The shampoo doesn't lather excessively (which I hear is bad anyway) and the conditioner leaves your hair with just the right amount of cream, leaving it feel light. I have fine, pin straight icy blonde hair and I don't feel as though it weighs my hair down at all or affects my colour....in fact, my hair has never looked or felt better than when I use this shampoo and conditioner (mixed in with a purple shampoo even now and then). I was surprised to see this on SpaceNK as I thought it was long discontinued, I think they've recently brought it back. I used this when I was in high school and hadn't thought of it for years. I ordered it, wondering how much it had changed. I'm so glad I did, it's fantastic. I adore the smell, that really earth green Aveda scent. And it gives my hair so much volume. I lather it a bit in my hands before using, and then really massage it into the roots. It leaves my hair so clean without drying. I couldn't be happier with this, I hope it doesn't go anywhere!

It was great then and even better now!!! Love more than smooth infusion, be curly, nutriplenish, and damage remedy. I now switch between this and botanical repair. This is perfect! Does exactly what they say, moisturizes, hydrates, no frizz and doesn't weigh your hair down!! No need for styling products. Hair is soft, smells great, no frizz. I have lots of fine, highlighted, semi wavy/ curly, frizzy hair that is super tangly. My hair holds on to water like a sponge. This makes my hair not like a sponge. It's a wonder shampoo and conditioner. No idea why there isn't a leave in conditioner in this line, or curl refresher...something? So I'll continue to use what I have left of the smooth infusion mask, until you bring that back. Please Aveda!! Give us more sap moss ... MoreIt was great then and even better now!!!
