I'm a big fan of using a scalp treatment just because I don't wash my hair more than twice a week to preserve my hair color and my scalp tends to get itchy. This treatment is an absolute lifesaver! You don't need much and I just squirt little bits all over and massage it into my scalp. You don't feel anything but when you wash it out and you're done washing your hair, you hair and scalp feel so clean and detoxed! It's amazing because my scalp is soothes and cleanser but it doesn't feel dry or stripped of nourishment. It just makes my hair feel fantastic! I only use it on my hair wash days and it helps balance the oils on my scalp. I feel it also keeps my hair healthy and strong. I love this treatment! It's a must-have in my routine! Gifted by Aveda.

Aveda's salicylic treatment is super effective and gives me an extra day without needing to wash my hair, but it is also very gentle. It's made with naturally derived salicylic acid. It does not dry out the bleached parts of my hair. It gives me such a clean, fresh feeling and a bit of extra volume. I apply it to my roots, then apply conditioner on the lengths at the same time, and finally shampoo. I can't wait to try more Aveda products.Gifted by Aveda

I received the Scalp Solutions Exfoliating Scalp Treatment complimentary from Aveda to try and review. I have use so many scalp treatments and scrubs over the years because I have psoriasis and sebhoreic dermatitis on my scalp and none of them was nearly as easy to use last this one. I put this all over my scalp and massage it in about 10-15 min before I get into the shower then wash and condition as usual. This has left my scalp feeling much less congested and itchy. It almost seemed like my shampoo performed better on days I used this scalp treatment. I would highly recommend this to anyone that wants a healthier more refreshed scalp.
I was excited to try this new Scalp Solutions line that was gifted by Aveda. I have naturally thick, coarse black hair but also suffer from an oily and flaky scalp. I have been more focused on scalp care so this product line is perfect. I love the scent and idea of scalp exfoliation because I feel like so often we neglect the skin on our head also.The instructions states you can apply this product on wet or dry hair. I tried applying it directly to dry hair but it didn't lather well, so I would highly recommend applying to hair that is damp.

I used to have to wash my hair everyday. If i didn't it would be sooo greasy. And i work in an aveda salon and nothing would help balance my scalp. I've learned this product two different ways i used to on wet hair and i was able to make it an easy 2 days with super clean hair almost pushing it to 3 days. My favorite way is on dry, i'll put it on my scalp and scrub it clip my hair up and leave on for like 5 mins or so and then get in the shower get it a little wet and scrub it and suds it up, rinse it shampoo again with the scalp solution shampoo and use the conditioner roots to ends and i now can go an easy 5 days and my hair look and feels super clean and shiny and soft. i am 100% obsessed. Plus it's gluten free which is perfect for me and my gluten allergy. :)

I decided to try this product out on a whim, and I am so glad that I did! There is no better feeling than a clean and refreshed scalp straight out of the shower! This product is a clear gel that you apply to the roots of your hair and scalp. It is very easy to apply, and it's mess free! After applying it to my hair, I waited about three minutes for this treatment to absorb into my scalp before following up with my usual shampoo and conditioner. My scalp feels so clear and clean, it's free of buildup! I would buy this product again and again, and I think it would make a perfect gift to elevate anyone's shower routine.
At first I was not enamored of the scent when compared to the recently discontinued pramasana line in the real bottles, whose scent I loved. But I was determined to try the new light blue line anyway, because I have been dealing with a major scalp condition and had come to rely on the teal line so heavily in treating it. Well, scent notwithstanding, I truly prefer this new line. Especially this product. It seems to eat away at the pesky buildup that has been plaguing my head, like within hours of using it. That sounds harsh but it's actually very refreshing and cooling feeling to use, and my scalp hasn't felt this good in a long time. I just ordered a third bottle.
