I have been using Aveda Shampure shampoo and condition now for 25 years! It is my go-to combo for clean, fresh smelling hair. I love how this product has been perfectly formulated with flower and plant essences and it smells absolutely AMAZING. It lathers wonderfully and keeps my hair looking clean and healthy. I love to buy the liter size bottles so I never run out! I highly recommend this Aveda Shampure line to anyone looking for clean, shiny, amazing smelling hair. It will not disappoint!

In the winter I tend to get a dry and irritated scalp and I get dandruff. Last Christmas in 2022 I got gifted a bottle of this, a whole litre, and I am still using in in January of 2024, a year and a bit later and I use this during the fall and winter twice a week. This is hydrating yet gentle on the scalp with a soothing smell. This helped my scalp drastically and I will never go a winter without it now.

I discovered Aveda Shampure years ago when I was window shopping on Green St in Pasadena. I looked into this fancy schmancy salon and noticed one wall by the cash register had a ton of Aveda products. At the time, Shampure was only $8, but back then, that was pretty expensive for a bottle of shampoo. I also grabbed up this really awesome blue bottle of the Brilliant emollient finishing spray and this really cute roller ball blue oil that smelled like peppermint and camomile. I scored big that day. Although I think Shampure is the only product left of that list, they are still my go-to brand for haircare. Bi recommend them highly.

I love that it is more natural than most and has such clean ingredients. I love the way it makes my hair feel when I use it. My hair feels soft and bouncy. I do not use it exclusively because after a while for some reason my hair starts getting oily and not looking too great. I will switch between shampoos but this one is great for when your hair needs a break from all the crud. A funny story: when my grandmother tried to wash my hair with it for the first time when I was a child she called my cousin and told her that it was awful and must be old because it didn't lather at all. This smells like the spa, holy moly I love it! It’s such a great shampoo and leaves my hair feeling clean and refreshed. I love that the fragrance ingredients are clean and I’m not putting harsh chemicals on my sensitive hair. Definitely worth the cost, it lasts for quite some time!

Buying again

So I'm general I love Aveda products and I can't say with any certainty that I've ever been disappointed in the products themselves. Prices are a different story all together. Anyways, I bought the travel size since I was going on vacation and decided this would be a good trial period. I was pleasantly surprised with the scent which is very light and soothing.The shampoo itself Inst very thick which was a little disappointing but I use about a half tablespoon or a little more each time. It makes my hair feel moisturized after and my scalp feels great. I've been having some issues with dry patches in my scalp and although it's not cleared up 100% this shampoo and conditioner combination have helped tremendously. Perfect basic shampoo!

Perfect basic shampoo! I love all Aveda shampoos, and products! I had a time off from them and my hair was not as good condition as it usually is!! ....but this product I ordered it as a treat for my son who doesn't spend much on his hair but kept pinching my shampoo!! He loves it and it lasts ages.

Shampure worked wonders! My itchy scalp was left clean and flake-free and my hair was shiny, smooth and soft again. I would heartily recommend Shampure as it is a fantastic product to use on a daily basis (I have short, fine, coloured hair which is naturally wavy) as I wash it every morning. My expensive permanent salon colour last ages too because Shampure helps to maintain its brightness! I always buy the litre salon-size litre bottle with the pump and it lasts for well over 8 months so it is excellent value for money. I only need a half pump of Shampure to get a good, dense foamy headful of bubbles. This, is, without doubt, the best shampoo I have ever used for my hair and I will never use anything else again.

Useful every day shampoo

This a great option if you end up washing your hair regularly, it’s clean and lightweight. I sometimes use this as a second shampoo if I have a lot of product build up. I also feel confident using this on my children’s hair. The fragrance is inoffensive and doesn’t cause any reaction to sensitive skin. It is recommend, 4 stars as it feels quite pricy for a fairly simple shampoo.

Wonderful shampoo

This is a wonderful shampoo. It works so well with my fine hair - it lathers-up really well and cleans my hair throughly in one wash. It’s easy to rinse out and smell is unique and glorious - very fresh and clean. I use cheaper shampoos from time to but always go back to using this one. I think it is good value for money as you only need a small amount. There are very few ‘stand-out’ shampoos on the market and this is one of them.
