Aveeno Intense Relief Hand Cream 100 G

I work in healthcare and am always washing my hands throughout the day. I needed something with intense moisture that would last me throughout the day. This lotion has worked wonders!! My hands rarely get cracked now that I use this. I highly recommend this lotion if you like a thick cream that lasts a long time. I also love that this is fragrance free as in most clinics/ hospitals fragrance is not allowed.

During the winter time I always get terribly chapped hands that crack, turn red, and bleed. I also wash my hands a lot and that just seems to make my problem worse. It also seems like almost every lotion that I've tried either makes my hands burn because of the fragrance in them, or they aren't moisturizing enough. I decided to try this lotion and I felt like my hands were getting repaired every time I applied it. For the first time my hands were actually soft to the touch. I don’t buy skincare and makeup at the drug store in most cases as I have found things that work and don’t work for me. But lotion and body wash are things I will buy at the drug store because there are some good options and brands that dermatologists recommend. I have found that Aveeno lotions are one of those items that work for me. My skin is so dry and I am retaining so much water in this dry weather. This makes your hands feel moisturized without feeling greasy which is huge because I think when my fingers are swollen with water retention feeling goopy is an awful feeling. There is also no fragrance which I prefer in a cheaper brand because I don’t want a really horrible smell on my hands all day. Ever since I have been using it, my hands have been looking so healthy and looked after! It is not very thick in texture and is easily absorbed. It is fragrance free…. has this slight medicinal smell that fragrance free products have. (I wouldn’t mind a tiny bit of fragrance though.) It is a tiny tiny bit greasy. I use it at night and massage it well into the skin. I then blot my palms gently with a tissue so I can go about doing my work (which is basically using my mobile phone 😬) My hands feel so soft and smooth in the morning. The best part is that it is very affordable. I bought it over the weekend for just $4 something on sale, from @priceline. I highly recommend it and will be definitely buying it again.

I have extremely dry skin and it’s especially bad in the winter. I love the intensive overnight as it offers me instant relief. If my hands are just as dry as they normally get or extremely dry and cracked, I apply before bed and when I wake the next morning my hands are so relieved, much more smoother and feel super hydrated. It’s the ONLY lotion that can do this for me in such a short time. Thanks for coming out with this product and many of your others that work amazingly and do the job!!

Plus the packaging and sizes were perfect. over all good quality. i love the smell and the looks of it. im looking forward to purchasing another one!

My Go-to

The skin around my fingernails peels and flakes and has been painful for as long as I can remember. It comes and goes. Hand creams seem to help for a bit but never for long. While this Aveeno cream hasn't been a complete fix, it is by far the most effective at keeping the skin intact and preventing "hangnail" type skin from forming. It's also by far the least annoying hand cream I've ever used - even though it has petrolatum in it, it feels like it absorbs rather than sit on top of skin. It's not greasy so my hands aren't out of commission for a few minutes after I use it because they're too slippery. I'm a huge fan overall.I have used the cica repair hand masks for a while, but find them too expensive. My favorite hand lotion

This is my favorite hand lotion for a dryer environment and aging skin. We live in central California where is desert-ish weather. I love Aveeno, but this particular one works great to carry in my purse and put on my hands as soon as I wash my hands. It helps me to keep my skin moisturized but not oily. It is light and comfortable and has long-lasting effects. I have sensitive skin, and this one works fine with sensitive skin.

Shame that it's not cruelty-free

This cream literally saved my hands! I used to have dry, tight hands that used to peel from washing them too much, and a few applications of these made all those problems go away! Not oily, not greasy, makes my hands super soft with consistent use. I've heard that this withstands washing, but I don't think that's true because I do need to reapply every time I wash my hands. The fragrance-free feature is a bonus! My nose can't take strong smells so this hand cream was especially ideal for me. I would really love to repurchase, but unfortunately Aveeno is NOT cruelty-free at all, so I will be searching for alternatives.
