avent 3 in 1 Electric steam steriliser

One of these things is something I never had but wanted one. It's an Avent brand 3-in-1 Steam Sterilizers. It can be used for a few things such as sterilizing pacifiers, it can warm wipes as well. I'm really not sure what all you can do with it but I'll be honest, I'm not completely sure. I do however, recommend it just the same.

Perfect steriliser if you need to clean a lot. I was expressing every 3 hours so to be able to put the breast pumps in here with the bottle and push a button was a life send. You know everything will be clean and dry for the next round. It's big enough to clean both pumps and 2 bottles at a time (at a squeeze). I also really like the dry feature. Just means less to think about when you're looking after a newborn!

Its more than 1 year now we are using this product. Initially we were not sure as price of the product is a bit higher. But belie me, its must buy for parents. It is not only useful at home but when you are out on holiday or visiting relatives, it becomes almost impossible to get the bottles or utensils sterilized considering the availability of Boling water as all want to prepare food first :-). But from day one, we were sure that we want to give first priority to our baby and he should never wait/have food/milk in already used bottles or in utensils which are not sterilized. we do not want to give second priority for our baby food/milk. Overall, we are 100% satisfied as it saves a lot of time.

I received a gift from my friends Philips sterilizer version 3-1. Very easy to use and to clean. Built with light materials that can be easily disassembled. It can be used with the small container only, the large container only, or both. As per the instructions, complete sterilization is obtained with 100ml of simple water. Convenience is great because thanks to the large amount of space you put everything in there and do it all by yourself. Automatic shutdown. Recommended because when there is a baby, times are limited and there are many things to sterilize.

We used this for two babies. It never faultered or quit. So reliable, stylish and performed so much better than expected. Love it! Philips Avent and the whole line are too quality top notch designed and made in UK even though it’s a Dutch brand. See you can get that info unless it’s coming from a very well informed and highly researched brand from parent that’s meticulous about these things.

I have never been so disappointed with a product before. I received this as a baby shower gift and was very excited about it.I was only able to get about 3 weeks use out of it. During my morning cleaning routine, I went about sterilizing my sons bottles. Within about a minute of the machine being on, there was a loud pop, 3 sparks came flying out. There was a strong burning smell as well and there was much more steam coming out than normal. I immediately unplugged it and let it cool. I then come to find that the malfunction actually blew the electrical socket it was plugged into.I always made sure to follow all instructions each use. It was always dried before storing and cleaned up regularly. It was purchased from Sears, and with Sears now being out of business ... MoreI have never been so disappointed with a product before. Easy To Use

I have used this steriliser for about two weeks now, and I think I am in the right position to write a review.On first impressions I thought, Wow, It's huge, but it soon blends into the kitchen (Providing you have a lot of worktop space) and does not look to out of place.Unlike other sterilisers that I have used, it has removable baskets which can be stacked so you can sterilise different components on each level, (Plastic Knives, Plastic Forks, Breast Pumps etc) you can do up to 6 bottles at a time which I have found really helpful. if, for instance you don't have many bottles (say 2) you can keep everything on one level which would make the steriliser much smaller. I, however have not experienced any of it. I have found that it is quick, efficient and it sterilises in about 5-6 minutes.I am very impressed with the steriliser, and apart from being a bit shocked at the size, its flexibility on sterilising everything makes up for it.

Invaluable to new mum's

My baby is allergic to Milton so steam was the best option! This steamer is so quick and easy to use. Things are left wet but not with chemicals so it’s fine! I did have the same issue as everyone else with the hot plate being rusted/burnt but read somewhere to use Citric acid. I bought some and put a tiny bit in with water and turned it on for a cycle and then wiped it away! Good as new! Had used it for 4 months straight without knowing this genius hack! It’s so easy to use and quick to sterilise in a hurry! Gets very very hot though so be careful not to burn yourself!
