I loved these storage cups and also the bottle/pump adapters. I ended up buying another box of these. The attached well to my spectra 2 pump. These cups were great because they were reusable so we just sanitized them as needed and I could refrigerate my milk for the week. If I froze milk I just preferred using bags since I used the cups a lot. I needed to still make use if my plastic bags I got. I know these cups can be used in the freezer though.

I put these on my registry thinking that they would be handy for storing milk in the fridge. However, once I tried to store milk in them, they were not spill proof. For the life of me I couldn't get the lids to properly screw on tight enough. I was also trying to use them to transport milk to my in-laws to watch the baby. The lack of proper seal also puts the milk at risk of contamination. It's possible that I got a bad batch of them, but I had other friends tell me the same. I would not recommend these to parents. They just aren't solid enough to keep the milk safe from contamination. Let alone all of the other problems loose lids cause.

Awesome system!

I use the Spectra s2 pump and am an exclusive pumper. I bought avent bottles because those are the only bottles I read that also fit the spectra. I found these one day and was very intrigued. Turns out, they also fit the spectra and all other avent parts. I bought 3 boxes (30 cups) and reuse them for pumping, fridge storage, and freezing. Ive used them for 3 months now and dont see any wear or tear and have saved tons of disposable milk bags. There is also so little to wash. I have enough that they can just go through the dishwasher with a normal load. I have read that if you wash them by hand they will last longer but I havent had a problem. It also makes packing breast milk for daycare very simple. Better than milk storage bags!
13 November 2021

These are great, and I wish I would have bought them from the beginning instead of using bags. The package includes an adapter for breast pumps, so you can pump right into the container (if it fits your pump). No transferring milk into a bag anymore! My only complaint is that you have to be careful to get the lid on just right. They do close and seal well, but you do have to make sure you line them up perfectly.

I purchased these breaks milk pots to go with my avent breast pump.I love how they come with 2 breast pump adapters so no need to be filling bottles and pouring elsewhere. Also the adapter allows you to attach an avent teat on to the cup if more convenient for you.The cups are very durable and well made and are easily stackable for storage.I have a few pots already in my freezer and a pot in the fridge with milk for my son to add to his porridge etc.The pots can also be used as baby food pots too and are freezable, microwavable and reusable. They are much easier to use than breast milk storage bags and can be easily labelled as you can write on the side and have the amount in Oz too.Really great purchase. Great all-in-one system with a little room to improve

I received a free sample of this product in exchange for my honest review. Overall, I`d say this is a great product. I really like that these containers can be used for everything from pumping into them, storing, and all the way to feeding with them. For me, I hate wasting even a drop of breastmilk so it`s nice that I don`t have to transfer containers to freeze and thaw (and subsequently lose a tiny bit of milk). These containers also have a space where you can write the date that you stored it which is a great concept but I had some difficulty with it. The instructions say that you can write in pen or pencil but I found that pencil was very light and hard to read. Whether I used pen or pencil, scratch marks were left behind when I washed the markings off which ... MoreI received a free sample of this product in exchange for my honest review. Whether I used pen or pencil, scratch marks were left behind when I washed the markings off which makes it a little confusing to read if you use pencil next time. The only other thing I will mention is that you need to either boil these for 5 minutes or use a sanitizer before the first use. After boiling, my pot and the containers had a powdery residue on them that I was able to get rid of by handwashing but not by placing on the top rack of the dishwasher. It`s probably nothing harmful but still not anything I`d want in my milk.

Great overall product

I received a free sample of the Philips AVENT Breast Milk Storage Cups and was very happy with the product. We had been using milk storage bags, and these are much easier to use and are nice and stackable in the freezer which takes up less space! The cups have twist on lids and can hold up to six ounces of breastmilk. The set comes with two adaptors so you can hook it up to an Avent pump, or if you`re using another brand of pump, you can use the Avent pump adaptor and hook that up to the adaptor for the storage container. I found doing that to be overkill since you wind up with a bunch of extra pieces to wash. So I just pour out the standard bottle I use with my pump into the storage container. If you use Avent bottles, you can use the adaptor and feed your child using either the classic or natural bottle tops. So this storage system is pretty convenient if you use Avent bottles. These containers are also nice for storing home made baby foods. The screw on tops mean they won`t pop open in transit.

Great reusuable Milk Storage System
24 February 2016

Overall, I really like the Phillips Advent Breast Milk Storage Cups. I did recieve this product as a free sample to use for this review. I was very impressed with how well this product held up in the freezer and dishwasher. Also, I appreciated that each cup held 6 oz of milk instead of only 4 oz like most other reusable breast milk cups or storage bags. The storage cups come with bottle attachments so that the milk once thawed can be turned into a bottle for feeding. I did not like the attachment design. It was very hard and uncomfortable to hold. I felt like I was trying to juggle the bottle. Also, the directions for how to attach the pieces, nipple and cup were basically nonexistant. There were very small diagrams that did not explain that you needed to buy the ... MoreOverall, I really like the Phillips Advent Breast Milk Storage Cups. I will definatly continue to use the storage cups as they hold a good amount of milk, they are easy to clean and more convenient than having to buy disposable bags frequently.

Sustainable, economical, easy!

Fits on Spectra Baby 2 breast pump with blue adaptor (included). We then either use one of the lids to store (included) or use the tub and adaptor as is, put a Spectra Baby or Phillips Avent lid on and she can drink straight from it. So easy! We had considered the breast milk bags but they’re single use and expensive. These tubs are super easy to wash and sterilise and don’t take up a huge amount of space. We ended up buying two sets just so I could leave one set of adaptors on the pump and use one set for feeding. I cannot ‘express’ how much of a life saver these have been!

Unreliable Lids
31 December 2019

I recieved x10 cups with my pump. I wanted to love these because they matched my bottles and had ml/oz measurements. However as I was working so hard in my breast milk supply I would store the milk in these cups and if you did closely monitor how the lid went on, it easily cross threaded and your precious milk spills! Okay so you have to be extra mindful as you're exhausted and working to pump extra milk. However the max milk you can put in the cups is 6oz. I filled the cups to the 4oz line and when the milk froze it warped the cups, dislodging the lid! When I used my Avent bottle warmer to thaw the frozen milk, it spilled out of the lid!!! As a mom of a new baby this is highly stressful, and quite frankly unappreciated as Phillips Avent is supposed to be a "baby ... MoreI recieved x10 cups with my pump.
