I have experience pumping using a different brand from a few years' back with my now 3.5 year old son and more recently with my now 6 month old son. I have enjoyed using this new pump.This breast pump is aesthetically pleasing, it is very compact and cute. The pump is also extremely quiet, it is the quietest pump I have used and I enjoyed that feature a lot. It actually shocked me how quiet the motor was, I had to double check that it was on. My only minor complaint, is that the 8 different stimulation modes were kind of confusing to figure out where to start from. I really wanted to like this product. Especially since I'm a new mother who relies solely on pumping to provide my daughter with some breast milk since she's having a hard time drinking directly from my breasts. I purchases this product before being discharged from the hospital with hopes of being able to feed my daughter. Despite double checking that all the parts are put together correctly and the seals look good, I often receive very little milk from pumping compared to expressing manually. More often than not, I won't get any milk from one of my breasts even after repositioning the pump or massaging my breasts. For a product that is so expensive and meant to save time, it's a huge disappointment. I instead really on what manually express and baby formula. Also ... MoreI really wanted to like this product. One of my cousins also finds that this product under performs for her as well and she often gets more milk from her natural milk let down of her second breast, while feeding her daughter with the other.

I still love this pump because it's efficient in expressing milk, so I'm not tied to it for a long time and able to get about my day. My favourite feature of this pump is how light it is, and the insulated bag it comes with. This bag is perfect for holding used pump parts and expressed milk while out and not having to worry about milk residue getting on everything else in the bag or having no where to put pumped milk. I really like this pump. The actual pump it's self is super small and compact which is easy to just pack it up and not have to lug around a huge bag. The cord is actually very long too which is nice if you have awkardardly placed outlets in your house. It was really great to not have to worry about getting the correct flange size since this one molds to you and it really did feel like a baby sucking motion which was cool. I pumped the same amount of milk as I do with my other pump so it's very efficient and has good suction. I have been using the Philips Avent Double Electric Pump for a few weeks now, since welcoming my third baby.Over the years, this is the 4th electric pump I've tried and definitely the one I'd recommend first, if asked. My absolute favourite feature is the soft silicone - what a game changer! You don't need to spend frustrating pumping sessions figuring out what size flange is best and most effective for you, because I believe the silicone flange is highly adaptable and would work well for anyone! I had great results with each session and was ... MoreI have been using the Philips Avent Double Electric Pump for a few weeks now, since welcoming my third baby.Over the years, this is the 4th electric pump I've tried and definitely the one I'd recommend first, if asked. My absolute favourite feature is the soft silicone - what a game changer! You don't need to spend frustrating pumping sessions figuring out what size flange is best and most effective for you, because I believe the silicone flange is highly adaptable and would work well for anyone! I really love the extra feature that the pump remembers your settings from your prior session!I especially love that the pump comes lids for each bottle, and everything feels very high quality and was carefully considered to be as useful as possible.I will say the only feature I missed from other pumps I've tried, is that this one needs to be plugged in versus being rechargeable. However I think that because it plugs in, it allows it to be a little stronger without the risk of a battery running out mid-session. I also wish companies would include the bandeau needed for this to truly be handless, or a voucher/coupon towards the purchase of one that is compatible with the pump itself.
